There's nothing stopping you from taking off some gear so you just meet the level 55 average required.

Extreme primals do not drop weapons, people need to stop posting that in every single thread. It was said in the letter that there is a questline where you kill all 3 primals and get a weapon at the end of it which will be ilvl 90 or higher. Nowhere did they say the primals themselves will drop the weapons and they even made it sound like it will be armor that will come off them(to go with the whole primal armor thing they talked about in beta).

It wouldn't have been a problem if the equipments didn't follow a dumb "vertical progression". :(

I wouldn't have minded his vanity purpose excuse if we'd actually get the vanity system at 2.1 but noooooooo
+ the snowman event will be just another vanity item you can never use outside the field (unless you register like 100 vanity gear presets)

It (in plain sight) says that Extreme primals drop ilvl90 weapons.

but we all new CT was going to be under coil, and seeing how I have done coil after a week or 2 doing CT we will be back in the same situation

I'm sorry, but you guys are off the deep end. SEVERELY off the deep end. You make Witchdrop look like a sidewalk crack.

This isn't going backwards, this is literally gap filling. Even then, it's broadening an aspect of endgame that has been widely criticized as too linear.

There were zero indications of this to be anything but what it was advertised to be at the beginning, and you're up in arms about it. This is nothing short of utter insanity, and those upset at this need to unplug from the game for their own health - because the self centeredness of it is absolutely mind blowing.

there is less people doing coil than people doing it, so it will appeal to that bigger group of the population.

extreme primal fights is there for the coil crowd to race for server first!!!! zOMG we are so cool!!

we all knew this a long time ago no reason to cry about it being backwards in terms of gear now
