I'm still calling it misinformation though, because I give advice/suggestions like they're milkshakes going cheap and have yet, in the 10 years I've been playing this game, to be thrown into Gaol.

In another word ... you have no proof and just making projection? I mean, I can equally make the claim that in my own experience, there are a high percentage of troll among raider than among casual, 'cause a lot of them are lEEt and just want to be passive aggressive.
That doesn't sound too horrible of a change. Especially if normal is still there for anyone who likes it. Helps people get through where stealth isn't really their thing.
Or just asking first can be really effective. There will always be those who will get angry no matter what you do, but if someone is an active part of the interaction and asked if they want advice and agree, they're much more receptive than having some random person just start finding fault with them in front of others. Nobody likes to be dressed down in front of others. That's why management training involves how and where to speak to your employees about issues. And one key factor is not doing it on the floor.
You take it wrong. :)
Also, I think you're missing the point. The point here isn't about which one of us is correct. The point here is in the absent of actual proof, your claim is as unsubstantiated as mine. Using nothing but personal experience, bias and prejudice to associate behaviors isn't really exact or even good science in establishing cause and effect.
Wall2Wall is standard cause there is no difficulty, and instead of upping the difficulty they just made "wall2wall" the core of dungeons. YOu dont design a game around min maxed stuff. Might as well remove dungeons and just clicking them on the duty finder instantly grants you the rewards if they wanna design the game around "wanna get it done in 15minutes so im back to afking in limsa" crowd
You can easily make two packs of mobs harder so you can't wall to wall. Add silences or whatever. Maybe more incoming damage
Honestly as a casual player the hyper linear nature of wall to wall is absolutely boring and it's why I only want to do dungeons once. Obviously because of roulettes we can't, but the design is so crap it makes me feel that way. Also there is no need to get better. Sure Savage gear looks cooler, but if I wait long enough I can casually do it with my FC. Gearing in general is relatively pointless as eventually a new expansion comes out and invalidates all my gear progression anyway.
This is probably going to sound mean but honestly, crazy idea here but people could also just learn not every single thing is an attack against them or something to be embarrassed about. When you start participating in a group activity where your participation affects 3-23 other players, you very much get put in a spot where if you're not doing something correctly or something that's leading to wiping the party, you need to be told because this is a team game.
Something like offering optimization advice in casual content? Sure, it should probably be something you ask before offering. But something like asking a tank to try to rotate their mit instead of using it all at once or not using it at all, or asking a white mage to cast holy on packs instead of sitting there spamming cure 1? That very much needs a polite, "hey, can you do this instead?" And you know what? That's fine, everyone starts somewhere, someone offering suggestions on improvement isn't the end of the world, it's not an attack, there's no reason it needs to be done in private or perceived as being "put down". It's one of the ways we improve as players. I'd LOVE if more people offered me advice, I freaking suck half the time I play this game lol.
You go into a team game, you should be prepared to be offered advice.
Emphasis though that politeness is the key. And because I know some people on this forum are really... aggressive about this subject, note that I'm NOT demanding optimal/savage or ultimate tier gameplay in casual content.
