I don't know who in SE thought that these changes were anything other than bad for the players that enjoy playing the class.
Removal of Kaiten just makes the class feel empty now with no use for Kenki other than burning it on Shinten spam. At this point might as well get rid of it.
Additionally the potency nerfs on our big hitters just makes you feel bad every time you play the class. The class was perfectly fine in 6.08 which makes these changes even more baffling seeing the state of Ninja, Gunbreaker etc.
SE should just revert the class like it was back in 6.08. Now it just feels like a chore when you play it. I hope they listen to all this feedback that the players are giving them even though that maybe just me being on Copium at this point.

Essentially what happened was the same exact thing that happened with the third party addon bs that has been happening. A group of people yelled loud enough and the said "Oh no please! We'll fix it for you! Don't go!" Completely shitting on their old playerbase for new players that do one dungeons a week and sometimes a map or two. This time it was terribad SAM players that were malding when they uploaded their *censored* and didn't see a shiny number so they blamed the game instead of improving themselves.

I've read a lot of complaints in some of those, but never actually found a lot of people asking for braindead rotations to make it easier to perform well. -

I am once again adding my voice into the support of the Samurai players out there.
I have never really been a SAM main myself, but i used to really adore the playstyle in 6.0/08 as it was one of my favourite melee DPS jobs along with DRG and MNK, so seeing the Devs going ham on removing something as impactful and feelgood as kaiten feels real bad now.
Hasn't been my first rodeo on a job i love getting a meaty boot (BRD and DRK :p) but it still doesn't feel any better the third time it happens. With the statement of 'fixing' up DRG, i am uneasy about how they're gonna mess it up just like they did SAM and NIN this patch. Haven't really played much lately and Kaiten removal is a contribution to that. I'm gonna stick with you all through this until SAM gets the justice it deserves.
Bring back Kaiten, it added way more than it subtracted from the Gameplay experience, and again. Who were these changes intended for??
