At least you're being honest about being a dick to new players in dungeons.

If that's your perspective on the matter, then more power to you. But personally, I care very little for people who act like jerks and then refuse to own it, instead choosing to whine at us forum dwellers about people calling them out on their behaviour.
And before someone accuses me of defending the "white knights" insulting other players in chat for pulling early, I am not. But here is something to ponder. Those people wouldn't have come out of the woods to spit their venom at you if you hadn't gone and poked them by being a jerk to begin with. It comes full circle.

You assume every body cares about others pulling while they are in cutscenes. Yes, it would be wise to wait but the point being made here is not that everyone cares if something is pulled while they are in a cutscene.
You are absolutely right. But it is still irony all the same. Why should people have to wait for a cutscene watcher? And why do early pullers have to pull early... because they value their time? Some say the world doesn't revolve around the puller but it also doesn't revolve around the cutscene watcher. It revolves around the group as a whole. Meaning if it's you're first time in the dungeon and want to experience cutscenes you should let your party know. Many people are silent and all the pulling happens.
The same as when tanks ask the healer if they can handle big pulls when they state they are new in the dungeon. However, this won't work in Prae. Also, you can easily re-watch any cutscene in the inn as well as new game+. Sure, you may not experience it first-hand as "Intended" like you said, but at least you can go back and watch anything you missed or re-experience it again.
The world doesn't have to stop for a cutscene watcher. It is common courtesy to do so but objectively, no one has to. And some don't care if you go on ahead.
Usually in lower content and 4-man dungeons, if a newbie is in a cutscene I'll tend to wait (on tank). But if I'm on healer or dps and the tank doesn't bother to wait, I don't really see an issue with it. And higher level content such as raids, it really, really doesn't matter. Dungeons in SB and ShB also have mostly done away with the super long cutscenes before final boss stuff, as well. Not like people get locked out of boss rooms now, either.
So typically if someone pulls, I'll be running in with them. There is absolutely no excuse for someone refusing to do their job or join their fellow party members in the room, simply because one person is still in a cutscene and you personally find it rude to go in or worry about a first time experience being ruined. Actively attempting to sabotage a fight by not joining in on a tank or healer is especially egregious and toxic.
Not that the passive aggression in this community surprises me much anymore, but still.
If you are getting extra rewards such as exp and tombstones for doing content with new people yes you do have a obligation to allow them their first time experience. Also if you are so selfish as to rush people who never experienced the story that is a you problem and you should probably make a premade group so you are not inconvenienced by new players. The problem with pulling before people are ready is you have just made a decision for the whole group. That is rude and it shows how selfish you are. (You doesn't mean you the person I am quoting) it just means anyone with this attitude that some how a couple minutes of their life just was wasted. Omg it would matter if it was your dieing breath, but seriously this is a game. If you are not competent enough to manage your time by planning for cut scenes or screwups in a dungeon run don't do that activity. I also know there are people who accidently pull although I'm on clear as to how that occurs. Because if you are competent enough to handle mechanics you should be aware of your party members. Anyway, those of you who can't be bothered to wait have alternatives to create a party in a different way. Just don't cry about not getting extra tombstones or exp.
I don't really understand this point of view. The tank tries to force the entire group into a situation that none of them wants by pulling during a cutscene, and everyone else is just obligated to be supportive of that unilateral decision why? Too many people in this game feel like they should be able to force the groups hand and have everyone just be cool about it.
If you pull during a cutscene you'd better be able to survive alone until the cutscene is over; and I guess in many situations tanks can. I do believe, at least, that if you can carry the weight of your decisions without any help then you're less obligated to consult or consider the group.
I still think it's a dick move to pull on a new player, but it's even worse if you need to beg for help and try to make the entire group complicit in your selfish nonsense.
I get where you are coming from, as to myself I don't see it a big deal if we start the fight ahead while someone is watching. They can join in once they done watching, and we gave them a head start on killing the boss.
From what people saying here, it bothers people and some new players. So it is not really that hard to wait is it? I mean before I thought nothing of it, but if it really bothers people to not be around at the start of a fight. I guess the nice thing to do is just wait until people done watching. Even if I don't see the big deal. Waiting is also not a big deal to me.
