Good piece of info here is, DoTs continue to tick when targets jump/leave/dash/transition/etc.

I've found that the guaranteed crit with Bootshine averages more damage per hit than True Strike. It was something like 560 average hit with Bootshine versus 530 for True Strike (tested awhile back so don't remember specific numbers).

I should've been more specific. DoT's won't tick on Garuda or Titan's 55% jump.

Hello fellow monks!
Yesterday iv been wieving my equips and some websites. I know most uf us face dillema to choose Crit or Determination for main focus.
I came across a website propably known by most called B.L.I.T.Z.B.A.L.L where i saw this:
"DTR seems to have roughly twice the return on investment for auto-attack than for weaponskills."
Does anyone know if this sentence is correct? Iv been mostly stacking Crit, but if this would turn out to be true, this would mean DTR would work really well for MNK's since huge chunk of our dps comes from AA.
I tried to check it n training dummies, but i dont have enough equip to make enough diffirence in determination to see the diffirence

If anyone got info on this i would greatly appreaciate sharing anwsers :)

There is no dilemma. Dtr > Crit > SS. Unless you are one of the people who has their own ideas on what they want to be better, then you can fight tooth and nail and try to convince everyone else that Crit is superior. (Point for point obviously)

I woudnt say im one of these :) Im not so often on official forums so im not really up-to-date and reading 175 pages ( i read some of) is beyond me ;)
Reason why im asking is becouse, some MNKs i know are bouth sided about crit/det, im person who like to solve such things on my own, but i didnt have acess to proper gear. Before i just equiped first ilvl90s i got to gear up for full 90, so i didnt really paid attention to much stats, just lately i finally managed to get allag weapon so i decided to look into it.

Well, that sucks, means i have to swap some gears ;/ darn it. Considering patch 2.2 is really close, id rather wait for it coz ill have to change gear anyways then.

Tested both. There's an increase in favoring determination over crit.

finally got the Allagan fists for my alt character's Monk.

if i didn't let those damn Allagan Gauntlets drop to the ground (i left before they were placed in my inventory -_-), i'd be sitting on a BiS build.

At least you've seen the gauntlets drop. ; ;

Next week will be my static's 21st week of coil, still haven't seen them drop once. RNG blows.
