Yea these look really good. I would much rather have updated bodies or these inplace of a new race as someone said earlier.

I'm a vote for proportional bodies as well. At a bare minimum, sliders. No reason not to. I personally find the forced choice of a diety, and all the semi-occultic aspects of the game more concerning then the apparent body shapes in the game...and yet I'm still capable of overlooking those and play it!
Not sure why adding more shape would concern people...there are just as many people out there who sexualize thin shapes as there are those who sexualize curvy shapes...or even thick shapes for that matter. Don't believe me? look at the crop of fashion models over the last 2 decades. If anything, this game is promoting the exact same issue that those models do. that for some reason skinny is better. I'ts not. adding more curve or more thickness options would be better IMO for people in general. Personally, I find it less of a sexualization issue and more of a pointed direction in design.
The sheer fact that it's so flat that it's noticeable should say something. I often won't noticed some body features if they look what I would consider "normal". Like the calves and legs on most the models look very normal to me (a bit long, but proportion isn't out of whack) But when I see a pair of legs literally shrink as they come into the glutes area...It seems pointed. Like they shrunk them to prove something. That's just as bad IMO as making them too big. better to just let people set them for what they like.
I'd like a shoulder slider too...to me looking at my character is weird bc her shoulders are so small XD but maybe my friends/family are weird and everyone else has no upper body? lol
Let me tell you about the "logisitics" of SDKs - They all have a hide option that is tied to a "Shift+F12" by default that is STANDARD on any and all SDKs - FFXIVs SDK is no different so the only work that would ever go into a "hide character model" feature is the UI work neccesary to allow us to utilize it - The script is already there and utilizes a command unknown to us AT THIS TIME - So the logistical side is a non factor - as for the ethical excuse - people should have thought about that before they even started acting or dressing in a manor that offends people of different beliefs and opinions. Most of the time - we'll eat that 30 mins if we run across someone that we simply do not want anything to do with (which we don't usually have to because folks always fill in house)
Nice try tho - The hide player character model is already STANDARD in the SDK, with enough support, would be very simple to implement =)
you are still here, and STILL trying, You are trying so hard... so very hard, it's almost to cringy at this point, Do we need to do this again? Every post you make at this point just makes my head hurt because of your utter nonesense.
I can assure you if the development team is looking at this thread they are probably dying of laughter and how silly most of what you said here is, Do not kid your self. Nothing you "suggested" is even remotely worth taking into considiration, because it's a joke.
Look, i'm not going through this with you again. But that was funny to read. so thank you.
I was going to mention this. I'm guilty for loving boobs, so my slider is at the max, but the only gear I've worn thus far that makes it look like I have anything are the coatees, yet bikini tops and the like seem to make them actually look smaller. :|
I don't want to look like an adult star either. In fact my character is usually covered from head to toe, but it's not like SE avoids giving females well-endowed proportions. Just google image Tifa Lockhart. But yeah, I would like bigger boobs please.
