Why is the Cruise Chaser mount from the Mogstation?

I think it was because the person he quoted on said "cruise chaser that got removed from the game".
Like that it had been in the game but not anymore as they put it in the MG instead.

So, It was never an in-game mount to begin with as it was never a mount in-game until it was put into the mog station.
So it couldn't have been removed to begin with.

I think you missed the point here. Alexander had their mounts, for 9-12 it had the Arrhidaeus mount. So yes, if it weren't for the mogstation we wouldn't had cruise chaser since the alexander raid series had their mounts like any other raid series from HW on.

It's really not that hard to understand tbh.

Yes you are correct. My fault. It should have said that got chosen to be mogstation product instead of implemented in to game. Instead of being removed. Semantics the point of it being created and not put in the game.

Yes, there are multiple choices on how SE can implement a mount.
Through Achivements, MGP, Achivement Points, Events (and probably more).

Semantics aside, if something shows up as a mount on the Mogstation (that isn't tied to a holiday from past years), it is not the Game Development Team that requested the item, it's the Mogstation Team. It would not have been created at all without that request. The most appropriate place for that mount would have been in the Alexander raids, back when Heavensward was the only expansion.

Six years later, it's available only because the Mogstation wanted a new mount.

White-knighting microtransactions is such a bizarre thing to do lmao, I always end up getting a laugh out of these threads. I bet Blizzard sure wishes they had a community like this right now.

Probably because, we actually don't have that many. Mogstation mounts are less than 10% of what is available in game.

The "number" of items on the Mogstation itself is kind of misleading too, 90% of that is former event items... Which, if you were here when they released, were included in your sub.

I mean I am not going to argue this man. If this is what you believe than that is fine. I mean I am pretty much done arguing about mogstation. It doesn't need to exsist, it shouldn't have exsist. The dev team, the mogstaion team, the CEO, TENCENT whoever. It doesn't matter. SE as a company has agreed to this and they are still responsible for it. So they chose for product to be created with the intent only to be sold and they take items that the dev team created and put them on the mogstation too. They give okay on products that are added to their game/store and it is still their IP. They could indeed have added it to w/e they please and a blanket statement such as it would not have been created in just casting the net to far wide for me. Either way I digress. I have accepted the mogstation a long time ago. I am just on the boat we deserve what we get now.
