Stop bothering GMs with your BS, there is nothing they can do about someone undercutting you, you know what I do if someone undercuts me by that much? buy it and relist it for the price I was going to put it up at.

Depends on the severity of the undercutting or my mood that day.
If it is an easy to farm or a craft able item, I tend to just get a few more to put up on the MB and just drop the price to a ridiculously amount. Usually 30-60% off depending on the item and its value.
If it is something a little bit more hard/RNG to obtain like Nightmare Pegasus mount or something. I will play that undercut game for a bit. When I have had enough, I usually drop it just enough were its sweatin' territory. If people undercut more than that, I pull it off the MB till either it goes back up in price or the competition sells theirs. Someone lost 3mil that day. I sold mine for the OG price I put it up.
The only thing I never undercut was my Egg Fuu Young because some guy would buy it everyday for the same price, regardless of undercutters and I didn't know what to do, so kept it at the same price for months.
Wait till you find out RL is competetive. Tell the market cut lecture to the greedy ********************* **** **** **** that did the 2008 financial crisis / housing bubble or china for literally going to conventions and fotographing and copying stuff because they don't acknoledge trademarks, or the farmers...
Who does that? The game doesn't even do that. Yeah people claim it does because they compare it to WasteyOurtimesimulator... W
What-aboutism! Nice one. If YOU don't like markets that why do you engage with the system?
I don't even know why so many players want to have 10000 million-gajillion gil. What are you even going to do with them? Unless you are one of those gil seller... oh...
Obvious bait but it's a funnily contentious topic.
I'll undercut by however much I feel is necessary. I undercut all of NA for some items because those are items people will travel for to buy in bulk. Other items sometimes I just undercut by one. If the undercuts are too aggressively frequent I start undercutting more and more.
I make a ton of gil this way. Even if that means undercutting you by 50%. Even if you buy up my entire stock, I'll still always make sure I profit and I may just come right back with another stockpile of market listings.
Free market. Learn to play it smart if you want to make gil.
Not that it has much use being a point anyways.
Exactly. I specialize in stuff that costs me damned little to make. I can make a profit at 400, and a bigger profit at 800 or 1000 each. If you want to undercut me, and keep on the 1 gil thing, I'll just cut it by 20 or 30% the next time, whatever it takes to tempt you into buying out my low-priced stuff and re-listing it. I'll just stop posting that product and let it cool while you get stuck with the stuff you bought that I already got most the profit out of.
5d chess by op, pissing off everyone to the point of massively undercutting every listed item in spite, all so they could buy it for those prices.
