like in the other thread... u can't just nerf Brds potecy based on fflogs/savage runs, cause if u do and look at their solo performance out of savage - they would be totally broken missing the Drg/Sch support.

You seem to be forgetting that people like us who post here are the minority. We like to get technical about the highest level content, but the fact is the vast majority of players never even set foot in a savage raid or EX primal, let alone clear them. WHM is proof that balancing around casual content kneecaps jobs in endgame. Playing WHM in expert roulette is many times the best choice based on Holy alone.

You balance for Savage and the rest of the game will work no matter what those adjustments are. No one cares if WHM's do more pDPS in Ridorana because you'll be beating the dps checks either way and if you aren't there are bigger problems than healer dps to contend with.

I never said whm doesn’t deserve a change. I just said that this „who cares non savage content?!“ is bullshit - just because the raiders don’t it doesn’t meant the other 80% of player don’t care either. Nothing more.

You seem to be advocating for casual content to be taken into account when it comes to fine tuning jobs for Savage. That's a facepalming headdesk if I've ever seen one.

Do you think this is balanced? How many people complain about the (current) total lack of balance in 4-man and solo content? There's really no need to balance around casual content. As long as jobs are balanced in 8-man content, they will also be balanced enough in casual content (within their respective role).

Do you remember the old SAT question style of "If all Fleebs are Flobs and all Flobs are Blurbs are all Blurbs Fleebs?"

It's kind of like that. Every job balanced around endgame will function perfectly fine in casual content but jobs balanced around casual content will not necessarily (as proven by WHM) be fully functional much less competitive in Savage.

I challenge you to come up with a change that would break a class in casual content (either positively or negatively) that would go unnoticed or at least not prompt a reaction from people playing Savage. There isn't any. Every difference in a class that's visible in something like Ridorana is magnified a good bit in o9s and once you get into late stage Savage/Ultimate it only becomes more important.

Hey guys. I've been on a bit of a hiatus. Am I missing anything? Since the recent ast buff AST and SCH have been roughly neck to neck when it comes to rdps. And well, healing.... well not like the game requires much healing to start with so pretty irrelevant.

Why this nerf thread now? I would've been expecting a thread about how whm is broken instead.
