Alliance Raids and players not waiting for Cutscene Watchers

The problem I could see occurring with that, is people who will just "accidentally" back flip/whatever out of the arena to get carried. And with how a lot of the community are towards kicking people(I've seen dozens of failed kicks for people who AFK entire runs of almost everything), it will be even worse.

It's more of a waste of time to intentionally let someone who pulled early get wiped and have to reset the boss than it is to jump in and help them if you are not watching the 2 minute cutscene.

Just wait till some people in this thread learn that I also insta-pull during the Toto-Rak and Stone Vigil pre-final boss scenes.

I won't argue that's not possible. i doubt it would be something normal, anymore than a lot of the really bad behaviors are the norm in the game.

It would help with situational awareness of your party. I remember a time I died on a boss as the healer, respawned because there were no other raisers, the tank completely disregarded everything going on, ran and did the next big pull, died, and then was like "No heals?" Both dps beat me to telling them "She's not here yet, dude"

I will say that before you were pulled into the arena, it was more the norm to make sure your party was there and ready. Because you couldn't run in without your tank or your healer and just expect they would get yoinked in with you. You were on your own. There are so many people who go on about this being a team game but they support mentalities like running in before everyone's ready that go entirely against the idea of being a team.

I really don't mind waiting.

This isn't recent. People have never always waited for cut scenes in alliance raids. It depends if the tanks are patient and can identify when people are in cut scenes. You can tell if someone is not nearby if their health bar is shaded a bit and in some raids you can see that there are several alliance members further back on the map (obviously in a cut scene). Instead of the shaded health method, some tanks identify it by doing a ready check to see who instantly puts no. I do think that SE could consider a way to force people to wait for the final cut scene.

This thread has made me wish they forced players to watch cutscenes like with Prae just so people's first-time experiences aren't ruined because of it. Clearly people just lack the courtesy to let other players enjoy their first time and something needs to be done about it.

Your time more respected than the overall enjoyment of new people.

Or, if you don‘t care, you want all the other people to also not care.

You guys legit make it sound like those few seconds/almost 2 minutes waiting is going to ruin the rest of your day because you actually dont even have time to play, let alone let others fully enjoy it.

It's probably that I am new and don't understand the situation entirely yet. Does missing the first minute of the fight cause the players who get in late from watching the cut scene to also miss their credit/reward from the fight? If not it's no big deal. On the other hand (as I said in an earlier message) if people not waiting means that people are basically forced to re-run the entire dungeon again for wanting to see the cut scene once, then I think it's a bigger deal, and you should wait.

Of course as I also said the entire problem could probably be resolved by just making the cut scenes viewable in some kind of theater.
