Oh yeah, it's still tiny percentage wise, but it's still underselling it/dismissing it, and is also completely ignoring players who don't use the OF, or are using other language forums. Gonna stop you right there. There is no snobbery. I was explaining my point of view and why the statement triggered me. I also explained why I disagreed with the statement. Trust me, there is no "high horse" for me to mount here. Just because someone points out that they have a little experience in the field they're talking about doesn't mean they're being snobby. And since you started your post with a direct insult (Notice how my post had none of that), it's hard for me to answer the rest as you've already set a negative precedent.

That last part is really important to read. It shows when male miqo'te and female roe were implemented. It showed positive results and the same will be applied here if it happens. Remember creativity is a very important factor in life and what draws an audience in. I don't play this game often, but I still praise it on a high status for what they do to their community. Please don't let them down.

Collab events have no baring on lore. Its side content for a video game.
According to lore, there is only 1 warrior of light; the main player. Everyone who the WoL works with in dungeons, Raids and trials are random adventures/mercs that the Main Player/WoL recruits.
And with the Miquote Moon Keepers are we comparing how the Males often go out on their own to wander? Vs Virea where the males and females literally live separated from eachother?

As for everything else, please notice how I stated SPECIFICALLY that certain WORLDS are the same, while others are simply CONNECTED. The fact that Ivalice shows up in multiple Final Fantasies means said Final Fantasies are connected. That also means Garlean technology being an obvious throwback/connection to FF6. It's even named Magitek. That is a connection, whether you believe it or not. That's one of the foundations of the whole Final Fantasy series - these connections between each world that define them as part of the Final Fantasy multiverse. If there were zero connections, we would not see Ivalice in FFXIV. We would not see moogles in every FF. we would not see chocobos in all of them either. I'm really not sure how much more I can explain this to you.

Well gee, didn't know saying my profession would make people think I'm a snob. That's what I get for trying to explain my point of view I guess! Also, you definitely did not read my post, as I stated later on within it that I would be happy to see both races have both genders, which means changing XIV's lore about them. Nowhere at all did I state in any of my posts in this whole entire forum that they absolutely can not change Viera lore - only that at most it could be potentially hard, and at least it explains their reasoning for not having male viera. Look up my posts. I don't have many of them.

the argument about lore is incredibly weak. theyve already broken the lore at the end of ARR for gameplay purposes. due to events that transpire you should not be able to go back to uldah. but you can and it's as if nothing happened.

Moon Keepers also live separated from each other, as their fathers are not around to raise them and they're usually pushed out of the main village at maturity (similar to the Veira once they're old enough to be identified as male). The males are kinda left on their own so they'll lend themselves to poaching or - if more noble - adventuring. They're expected to kinda hang around for breeding purposes, though. There's literally nothing stopping a few male Veira who are tired of their isolation or -literally called by the Echo/Hydalyn (ie: Warrrior of Light) - to venture out. In fact the WoL's race seems meaningless - if they are called, they answer. Even then, they are still supposed to be far less common than the other races, but they are the second most played male race in the game. Statistically speaking, Elezen should be, especially with Ishgard and Gridania in the mix.

So if you're willing to suspend belief there's only 1 Warrior of Light (one), and the classes there should be only one of (Dark Knight, White Mage, Scholar, Azure Dragoon, etc), why can't you extend that to the Veira? If I am the Warrior of Light in my game, I agree to believe you are not one (though you are in your game). Why can you not believe the Veira are still extremely rare despite players playing them?

We couldn't ALL meet Fray, take up an oath with Sidgurdu and become a Dark Knight, yet there are hundreds of us. We couldn't all go recreate the legendary weapon Excalibur. We can't all canonically have Midgardsormr as our buddy pet/mount. But these things are overlooked. I'm trying to figure out what makes these things exceptions but not a race, which there would be more of than these things.

A few NPCs actually make comments about your wanted criminal status actually. They all either respect you too much to arrest you or are too afraid to try, lol.
