From what I understand, the staff prefers we stay off the subject of politics in any case, seemingly for good reason. The same people polluting coherent discussions all over the internet.

Things that didn't happen

Not gonna lie if I was a dev, read that forum thread, and realized that many of the posters had a chance to be at a fanfest I attended, I'd be scared shitless.

Players are people, too, and can stop paying. Give them WoW Shadowlands moment ;)

Also, if a player would be advocating for "purges", he would be banned, yet employees are fine to have meltdowns on BlueSky about gamers or Trump...

The "bald" streamer guy also said that constructive comments should be banned and removed from steam or anywhere. States that if he was a dev he would ban every constructive comment because they are ruining reputation. Kek

Idgaf about the devs' feelings. Make a better product or get used to the criticism and backlash. Fire Yoshi P and the idiot devs going nuts on social media. They're all a cancer to the game and its development. 14 will continue to decline as long as those losers are making decisions, and no amount of toxic positivity will change that.

Square needs to update the engine that would make the game better in general so the animations are what hit you not the aoe markers xD

Personally, I consider it an investment. If it breaks me, I just stop investing. It's just beautiful and nice.

People wishing death, joblessness and more on those working on games they play is a tale as old as time, and I think asking people to be civil when sending feedback is not an insane thing to ask. Many of us have received these messages for less, even completely unprompted.


We agree on many things, but I do not agree on being "past the feedback stage". Nothing gives anyone the right to send these threats to anybody, even less over a game of all things. As customers, our most effective feedback is our wallet. Telling someone to die because they didn't implement something you (plural you) wanted or they implemented it wrong will only make them dismiss you. You can be harsh with your critics, but there is a line imho. Crossing it only detracts from your point.

Basically this. I guess someone had to spell it out for those at the back still struggling with the concept of not being an asshole over a videogame, of all things. SE will see the numbers drop and hopefully stop making the dumbest decisions known to man.
