Why can't you see your stats when you finish dung/raids and trials?

This and i want to see job/role specific stats, not only DPS. I want to see stats like damage taken, Overheal in %, Damage mitigated in %. Not only positiv stats which should go up like a rocket, also stats which shouldn't leave 0 as well. And all with a grade in comparsion to the best 100 to 1000 runs for this duty.

As for some advice: From what it seems, its pretty unlikely for Pro-Parsers to get what they actually want. From the answers I got some of you on both sides seems more than willing to compromise, you may not get what you want at first, but hey gotta start somewhere.

This. You would be surprised by the amount of people who are against parsers when asked what they do just simply say, they show numbers.

Im not saying all people against parsers don't understand what they do, but a fair few do.

Every once in awhile I look at users who are against parsers lodestone profile and while I cant see the achievements I do notice they have no raid gear. Parsers are not any good in easy content, they dont do anything and they dont help. In a raid setting parsers are essential and those who are so against it just dont get it and I dont think they ever will.

People already use parsers. They might not be able to say, "Well I have parsed you and you suck" but they can say "your dps is low and you suck" and get away with it 100%. Keeping parsers from being an addon or a in game tool does nothing but hurt people who dont use parsers. The lack of support for parsers are not going to get you into a a4s static or stop you from getting kicked from a group.

This is one thing in Destiny I liked for the PvE. It's a way of seeing that you're doing well, but SE wants to hide any and all hard data on that. Stone Sky Sea, here we come. That'll be the closest thing.

Parsers can be helpful right from like level 10. They are the most helpful in a raid setting, but they can be used well in easy content.

They don't help for you. Some people like to push DPS in whatever content they are doing, and a parser would give us a comparison to how we did last time, as well as test out different opener rotations on bosses, and see what does more damage. A parser would also let me work on my overhealing when I play WHM.

I'm not saying it's ok at all for a player to tell you "your dps is low and you suck", but what excuses you, as a DPS, from being held accountable at the same standards that tanks and healers are held by? Being a DPS does not mean that you get a free ride through content. If you notice that your DPS is low when using a parser, maybe it's time to practice. A player who doesn't know better and seeks advice, and one who plays inefficiently out of laziness and stubbornness are 2 different things.If you know you can't play your job and try to purposely hide it, then I'm not going to feel sorry for you when you're kicked from a group.

Parsers are good, but only 10% of the players know how to use and how to read them properly.
If there should be an ingame parser it has to sort and analyze the parameters for the players, if not 90% of the playerbase have no clue how they should interprete their data.

Thanks for the laugh. Cause you know, being against parsers must automatically mean I want to foster bad play. (<--That was sarcasm btw) But people do have the right to play however they want and everyone needs to just get the hell over it. If they want to go into a dungeon and ice mage all day get the hell over it. You wanna pay their sub?! Then you can tell them how to play. People wanna use crafting gear in dungeons? Get the hell over it. Pay their sub and then you can complain. You went into a group with randoms. You knew there are people out there who play this way that you might get paired with, and you were given options to deal with such people. Vote kick / leave the duty / vote abandon. I'm really left wondering if this is truly as rampant a problem as people make it out to be because I almost NEVER run into the kinds of horror story situations people post about on these forums. In game parsers will do absolutely nothing to improve the game and only legalize the harassment of people with low numbers since they wouldn't be able to report people for calling them out anymore. You think that will fix the problem? If anything it will make the rift wider. I already see so many "Big number drunk" parser people with 3rd party illegal ones. I don't wanna think how bad it would get if SE actually supported parsing.
