I already missed my long ass DPS queue and have to wait again ISN'T THAT PUNISHMENT ENOUGH?! Do I really have to wait ANOTHER 30 minutes on top of it just because you feel it's cool?

Now all we need is for vote kicks to incur penalties against whoever got kicked and things should be straight. I'm all for this system.

Well, it was a queue for ST, which is why I can't remember if they were three or four people queuing. But it still doesn't explain why they, after ONE withdrawal, ended up locked out for half an hour.

I see no problem with this system.
For solo:
Before: do the "a member has withdrawn" dance for 30min to an hour for every run...
Now: have seen "a member has withdrawn" 1 time in 5 days.
For party:
Every partial/full party 100% of the time does the ready check then DF's. Blame you PT leader for not doing so, and penalty should be party wide. A DPS DF is 2h's, so if you DF with 3 and you abandon because of *derp*, that DPS on the other side of the coin gets screwed over.
This penalty system gets 5 thumbs up from me.

Seems the only way to get them to change this is for people to use it to troll into oblivion, I can see this being absolute cancer to the community, easily seeing a single person or two coordinated ones constantly convince "Oh I'm back now" "Not really" after the 2nd strike dropping group, and having a 2nd member finishing the rest off. Best part is, you can't be mad because "It's an accident"

There is this problem with people abusing the system.
I got kicked once. Because the group wanted someone else who will join in progress.
I got kicked once because of a SINGLE dc.
I got kicked once because they wanted a ilvl 110 dps in WP, and not an ilvl90 one :-/

And I know people that are unlucky and run into situatuions like this more than once a day.

If you get kicked for any of those reasons(besides the DCing), you can report the group.
GMs are very friendly in this game and have always responded to me within 24 hours over abuse reports.

They just need to, at the very least, make it so if you get vote kicked, you can't join into the specific party you got kicked from.
I ran a garuda a few months ago where we got a troll and kicked him 7 times. You're completely out of vote kicks to get rid of someone at that point because of the cooldown and we didn't want to give up since a few of the dps and the other tank we're new 50s. It took us the entire time to clear something that should take 3 minutes because he kept AFKing until he would provoke off the tank to slipstream the players who said it was their first time.

Apart from generic answers I didn't get anything. Wait, once I got a "we don't take meassures for thinks happening in a party that lead to disagreements"

About this rejoining the same party.
I got kicked, because I was giving them a lip for making my live as Tank harder. Kicked me, I had in progress on, yep again this group. I was happy that I didn'T have to do a full extreme dungeon again, but rather would have cleared with other people.

for a lot of players this will not strengthen the sense of comradeship, it will instead cause a rift that will piss off a lot of them.

As far as the "lul I troll DF just for the heck of it!": This is bollocks. This doesn't even happen in WoW with it's "oh sooo immature" community.
There might be super rare cases that do it, but these can simply be ignored.

I find it really worrying how many people aren't thinking critically here and blindly accept what the DEVs present them. This is an IDIOTIC and totally UNNECESSARY design decision that has numerous negative side effects and needs to get reverted ASAP.
