If the only endgame content that "counts" is the one that drops the best gear, FFXIV will never have a lot of endgame content.

I'm a coil raider and looking forward to CT and new dungeons.
Heck, I collected all the titan books even though they were not "upgrades".
So yeah, whats the problem?
Maybe I need to stop trying to have fun. Maybe I should focus purely on upgrades.
I laughed too. Absolutely hilarious. For vanity he says...cmon...what a joke. At least have items that we can turn into crafted items in there to make it somewhat viable.
Except that this only applies if you play 1 class. While it does suck that if your main is ahed of the content progression wise, the game let's us play all classes.
I plan on doing all of it on pld, my main, for fun. Then doing it with mnk blm and war for gear.
I will agree that yoshis response was ... poor
Most people playing the game haven't even reached level 50 let alone entered BC. There is a definite gap between the item level 60/70 content and the item level 90 content. SE is doing the smart thing and filling that gap that will help the vast majority of players that have still yet to get to that point.
Their plan is to add on to both CT and BC every other update. It's only going to be a few battles with this release, not the whole Crystal tower. 2.3 will have additional battles which will most likely be more challenging than the new battles that will be added in the new BC turns released in 2.2.
Yeah... the pvp better be good cuz this whole crystal tower thing is a nail in the coffin for me.
But that would mean they'd have had to have made a deep and involving battle system. Which would then have allowed for a wide variety of "horizontal gear progression", resulting in much more character/job customization and less gear being made obsolete in the long run.
But that'll never happen.
Funny because this game's number only go up for now after almost 3 months ? Aw, thats right, it just go up. And with 2.1 comin they re gonna most likely gain another bunch of customers, not countin the fact that the "give this key to your friend so he can try it for 7 days" thing isn't even started.
People are just a sad bunch of sad balls always claimin that dark days will be comin, even if facts are purely contradictory to their thoughts. Keep 'em comin.
