Is anyone else really disappointed with the nerfs coming in 2.2?

You do because if it was about enjoying the challenge then it would not affect you and your group since you are not forced to used best is slot nor the echo buff. So I still don't get what really has you ramming your head against a wall.

In the end I don't see any negatives. Just people mad that others will be downing content. It's not like they are selling those titan runs for 250k or anything.

You are the lucky one OP, you've at least been able to prove you could beat it before the nerf. No-one else will have that claim afterwards. For content that isn't side content (I'm not sure if any content is / will be entirely skippable) they can't leave it at a hard difficulty level, otherwise your average player will be stuck there even after several expansions and no be able to crack on with the story or anything.

What I do truly wish for is that they'll in future maintain the original difficulty as an optional mode that grants an achievement or something trivial / status based. Then at least players can realize what others accomplished and try to do the same for themselves. Many have said "but you can turn the buff off" - totally not the same as an achievement for doing a mode where there was no buff, no "alleviation" of damage severity by certain boss skills, no esuna removing status effects that it couldn't remove previously, while enforcing a max ilvl restriction based on the cap pre-patch. I've seen posts suggesting this is a feature in WOW? If so please copy that square-enix.

I mean was 2 bees at wall in AK really a problem that they needed to be removed?

And were people really getting bombed so much by the catastrophic AoE at last boss , that its effects had to be lowered?

Some of these difficulty changes are just.. I mean really?

I'm not disappointed at all, this is how it should be, old content get nerfed.

let the people who dont have static or got lucky with BF/DF get things done or they leave.

No but since no one is running AK with ilvl 45-55 gear on average I assume those 2 bees are nearly non-existent since the strat the majority of people use against Demon Walls consist on it being bursted to the point that those bees don't even get to do anything. So why have 2 bees in AK that do absolutely nothing?

As for DL gear being in dungeons now. It's not ground breaking since if you already have CT unlocked you can gear mostly all your other classes with ilvl80 through CT/Myth farming without having to bother with AK's ilvl50-55 gear and DL is just ilvl70 gear which is 10 ilvls lower than CT drops and 20 ilvls from Myth gear.

Comment 2 I cant respond to I have no experience with AK yet, while some fates are indeed impossible these mostly involve those with bosses, I have solo'ed several on mnk (I don't play this forum sigs char anymore) that involve kill progress bars.

The reason I see SE making them easier is to remove substantial need for capped endgame players to need to help newer and or lower level players with the content they have already done multiple times.

Many capped/endgame players are already telling them no.

Solution: did you clear content before 2.2, you gear will say Allagan chestpiece of Aiming 2.1 (making the name up). Did you do it after: Allagan chestpiece of Aiming 2.2. Or just a different color, same stats. Problem solved.

Since the "casuals" say it does not matter when you cleared it, I'm sure they would not mind :). If they do, they're basically doing the same thing as the OP: complaining about differentiation.

yeayyyy to content BUFF but not nerf (idk why op not understand the diff between nerf and buff)
and yeayyyy i can finally clear t1 to t5 and i dont care about those so call hardcore wear op equipment do low level content for so call challenge

I'm quoting you because this is the point I'd like to emphasize. They are nerfing content to make the gap between old content and new content not seem so massive between new players/ low level players and those chomping at the bit for endgame. 'Cause, honestly, without those roulette incentives, how many of you would willingly jump into the old content (whether to help a friend/FC/LS member or not)? I'm willing to bet gil to donuts that the number would be pretty low.
