i've said it since he went into his position. yoshi is the exact same as tanaka besides the fact he's better when dealing with pr. he's going to do his own thing and can care less about the responses from his players. the requests for getting the 1.0 controller setup in as an option is a perfect example of it.

No, what's selfish is people policing others on how they should play the game. I'm glad casuals have a ton of stuff to do. Really, I am. The game needs as many players as it can get to stay afloat. But it doesn't need people telling others how to spend their free time.

As it stands right now, hardcore players play this game more casually than casual players do. They play 2 hours a week and log off until Monday.

Why do people care how others play? Really, it's none of their business. And yeah, people have every right to put gear requirements for their groups just like everyone has the right to form their own groups, without any requirements, if they choose to do so.

we are asking for gear requirement for

1) profitability , when u farm full hq gear or money or dl for ur alt u need to farm way and way more token than a single one (by farming 1 dugeon (wp) ) , if , by putting yourself a gear condition for ur group can divide the farm time by 2 , trust me , u 'll do it .

2) for insurance , trust me , u'd also prefer full relic team wich have down titan on their own than a total underskilled and ungeared ragequit baddies to clear a dungeon and wasting ur time .

so no , it'll change nothing to that game , and nothing to YOU if some ppl gear themself faster than u , cause it's a PVE GAME !

and then , ppl wanting to impose there pace to other players , by game mechanic limitations , is SELFISHNESS .

Wake UP , the limitations and cap are only here TO HOLD US because they want us to PAY ! ( for a game with an F2P limitations model)

ps ; i have nothing to do ingame si i m here ;) , can't find ppl to try t5 this week end because most of them are in t4 and don't want to be locked out from previouses turns.......

exactly. that's how i feel as well. i'm glad they are adding stuff for the casual crowd to have things to do as well.

what i have an issue with is the entire game caters to them 100%. there is nothing for the hardcore players to do at all to keep them entertained. most of the hardcore players are already capped on all classes and have at the very minimum of af for all jobs. there needs to be some long term goals put in game to keep the hardcores playing and give the casuals something to strive for eventually. i know many hated the drop rates in av and cc, but it did keep the hardcores playing for month on end doing the same 2 dungeons. yes, i can see a lockout on the highest tier of gear or a super low drop rate, but anything less than the highest tier should not have the same issue.

edit: personally i would rather the highest tier of gear have a super low droprate with a very short timer to re-enter. as higher tiers of gear and content is added they should lower the requirements to get the previous gear. it keeps the hardcores doing the new content and competing over world/server first while giving the casual crowd that is always slower to complete the content the stability of knowing they will be able to get the gear at some point. this gives both groups something to strive for and know they will be able to complete the content as it's on their level.

Thank you for telling me what I would prefer, even though I wouldn't it. Please read my post again, I am sure I explain how some gearing extremely faster then others would have an impact. If they remove the cap, you would make less money not more. If cap is removed, why would you farm DL if you can just farm myth?

u need to farm dl to clear TITAN and DL + i90 pieces or HQ jewels for T4/T5 ^^'.
don't forget about gear checks.

i think what he's trying to say is that with no cap on myths, nobody would go for darklight or crafted gear for that matter.

I feel like most of the people whining on here have never played an mmo before.

Did you know, if you have 1 lvl 50, that 50 can farm for the rest?

People who already have one geared job, can just myth spam for the rest. Then their new jobs would be all myth without even running anything.
