Request to speak to the Senior Game Master

I seriously would not have had the patience to sit around hoping for 2 bloody months. I would have made a new account and just played the game, since its pretty obvious the old account is lost forever.
Yes I realize that means losing a lot of goodies and gil, but hey, if he wants to PLAY, then that's the option.

I get what you're asking, and it's your right to do so - but please, don't act like your friend was some martyr to good here. He doesn't exactly walk away smelling like roses either. He broke the rules. He knew he wasn't allowed to do what he did, he did it anyway. Given that he'd already broken the rules, did he handle the rest appropriately? Yes, he did - no one's debating that, but it doesn't change the fact that he broke the rules in the first place. If it takes them a year to deny him, the fact that they considered it at all was a kindness on their part.

Yes, I've offered to buy him a new account, but he's still upset at not just because of the ban, but mainly how Square Enix is handling it. Their customer support is just a round about of cut and pasted replies and false reasons. I'm still here because we want answers as to why he wasn't banned on the spot, and just let him get sweeped up in a blanket ban, along with thousands of others, all because he followed directions to store the gil in a retainer for investigation, instead of just deleting the retainer in question. If he would of deleted it, i bet he would still be here :/

It's not just about the items.. We didn't get past level 38, but he did spend hours and long sittings leveling up 2 professions to 50. It's the time we spent together on Mrs Madam and Mister Sirs.

I understand that, I'm not saying he should be able to walk away like nothing happened because he helped them, and we both perfectly knew that reporting him could ban him, but the thing is, he wasn't banned, we kept playing together a month after he reported it and exchanged emails and what not with SE. So that tells us he shouldn't of been banned to begin with.

I personally think his ban was an accident since he got caught in the blanket ban for all the gil they told him to store and leave it untouched, and like i said, if he would of deleted it and ignored Jhanaka's wishes, he most likely would still he here, and i wouldn't be here trying to get more information.

I'm not asking for him to be unbanned, though that would be wonderful if it happened. I'm here so he can get the details on his case. If they actually did investigate his account, would it actually be to much to have Jhanaka email Mister Sirs directly (or have Mister open up a support ticket that Jhanaka can pick up) with their findings and the real reason as to why he was banned/ will stay banned, etc etc, cause ban reason of "RMT activities" is NOT the real reason. None of the gil was ever traded, sold, exchanged, used for purchases or given out. And i'm pretty darn sure Square Enix can see EVERYTHING that has gone in his account. So, if his ban reason was for "RMT activities", shouldn't that mean my account should of been banned to since he would give me a few hundred gil to help me afford teleports? He has made me a few of my Armorer pieces to. So if that gil he would give me, or the pieces he made was made with the illegitimate money (which wasn't, he made his OWN gil with Blacksmith starting out), shouldn't i not be here as well? That just makes me believe even more "RMT activities" reason is a big ole fat lie.

All we ask, is for Jhanaka, or someone from Square Enix, can talk to Mister in depth about the investigation on his account, so on and so forth. We would be very happy to know the real facts of his case. Once we get the real information to his case, i will so very gladly thank everyone even more here for supporting us and will let the thread die, without telling anyone the outcome and facts on his case. 2 months of constantly going at it, and i will NOT give up. I'm pretty darn stubborn, and will keep this thread alive till he gets information concerning this case.

I know Jhanaka made it clear that they may not (or won't) post here again do to the nature of this case, but is there any possible way that Jhanaka, or someone relaying their answer, can tell me if the investigation on Mister Sirs account has started/ in progress/ finished?

Guh, if Mister hasn't been so busy lately I'd have him call SE to see if anything at all even changed..

Square Enix, I'm a very persistent and stubborn customer, I won't give up on this case, and on mister, till at least some light is shed on this case to him D:

Until now, I actually was in doubt there are GM´s in the Game at all...

Getting caught in the net of support in this game is really a nightmare, i am glad i needed it just once.

It´s not the feelin of usual "try three times and you get once talk to someone competent"

I would really be curious about the Support Case Statistics of SE...

For you Guys, i hope you dont loose your engagement, because i think you deserve at least clarification! And i think Support on SE should really be more direct and not like Astrix in finding Permit A38...

Yes, their customer service seems to be a bit.. Of a task. I'm wondering if the Japanese side of customer service fairs better than the NA one.. I've seriously considered trying my luck on that side of the forums ): I mean.. Everything is handled over seas right?..

And yes! Exactly! He at least deserves more clarification and more information concerning his account and the investigation (which i still have no idea if it even concluded or if it was just in hopes to shoo us away or something, which, i hope not).

Knowing exactly what they found and why he remains banned still would be wonderful, cause "RMT activities" just.. No. That's not the real reason. Knowing exactly what they found and he actually gets unbanned would be fantastic! And if he still remains banned, at least we would know exactly the details as to why he still remains banned. Cause really.. Why would you keep those that helped you immensely, took time out of their schedual to take you step by step on how he was able to spawn X and X, become very appreciative, then just leave him for the sharks by telling him not to delete the gil?

Seriously.. I mean, that would be promoting more to have people NOT report such findings if it means they would be treated like this. You guys want to make the best game for us right? Well, 2 heads are better than one, and he found a large hole that your team Square Enix, couldn't see! He has most likely helped you stop having more and more gil flood the economy i would say.. unless theres still even more holes out there that farmers have found, and will no way report it till white hats come along, find it, report it, then get banned for helping.

Frankly I'm not surprised he's still not received any word about this from SE. As you can see from my signature, RMT seems to be 'winning' the war.
100 of the names STILL on my blacklist, were placed there within the first 2 weeks of launch and they're STILL not deleted, and I can still see most of them standing around babbling their spiels when I go to one of the cities. Meanwhile the few that have been deleted were added to the blist since Christmas. Go figure.

Yeah, i know what you mean.. I had around 150 black listed names on Mrs Madam, and i think last time i checked only around 7 or so were (Deleted). I have i think around erm.. 40 or something black listed on my new character, and i believe only around 2 or 3 were deleted. Haven't checked lately. I think it's just cause they don't delete characters or accounts since probably 99% of the accounts are player accounts, and sometimes the RMTs name that's messaging you isn't something that was facerolled, hence why Mister Sirs character is still searchable in the main site (thank goodness).

I think the reason some of those RMTs get deleted is probably the rightful owner getting their accounts back and deleting the character off their account, could be why so many are left without deletion.

I'll still keep on trying regardless of how slow they seem to be on things and what not. I'm not going to till they talk to Mister about their decision on the account and the information from the investigation. We really aren't asking for much but more clarification. Getting unbanned would be a wonderful bonus, but meh, i'm learning not to have my hopes that high up there.

On the bright side.. Least we don't get out chats spammed every time we enter a city-state, least on Midgardsormr. Still get a few private messages a day though.
