I want to know of this magical chocobo boat to kazham that gets there instantly. Would use it everyday, just for the hell of it. Where's the opposite dock? *Starts singing "I'm on a boat, never though I'd be here" in his head*
Okay, I'm done being dumb. Is there really a legitimate reason to not be able to use our chocobos in the past?
Also, what about Altepa/Kuzotz, how do our chocobos get there? Through Korroloka Tunnel? That...doesn't seem likely (less likely than being eaten by a maw at least).
I was hoping you weren't actually being serious. That's...sad. I also shouldn't be able to reconstruct a person via memory fragments that magically appear out of random memory flashbacks that I wasn't a part of but I can do that in Wings of the Goddess as well.
I can also kill gods, avert apocalypses, alter history, and more.
Things I can't do: Jump over logs.
Shall we continue arguing semantics? I asked for a legitimate reason.
Traversing chocobo's on your travels such as airships or through tunnels, are far more in line than being brought into the past. Some "legitimate" or "realistic" arguments just don't stand the test in a video game. Your trying to prove your point against something that is hardly worth proving. There are other reasons besides "realistic" reasoning as to why chocobo's arent summonable in the past, maybe because the devs wanted to imply additional incentive for players to use sigil. Or reasons beyond your current understanding. Stop bashing, have your opinion why, and let it be at that.
Unlike the person I was talking to, you are actually trying to make sense rather than just saying stupid one liners. Bashing? Perhaps, but the previous person was merely trying to turn down the idea for absolutely no reason, albeit the sake of turning it down.
I never used the word realistic for a reason. Because it's a game, one that has fantasy right in it's name. "Realism" has absolutely nothing to do with it, or we wouldn't be able to travel to the past in the first place, and wouldn't be arguing about something so idiotic. This is where i asked for a "legitimate" reason for there not to be chocobo whistles in the past. How is it game breaking? How does it change anything other than it being a mild convenience?
Additional incentive for players to use sigil? I'm sorry, I'm not following you here. What does Sigil have to do with riding a chocobo? My current understanding is based upon the fact that there's is currently no plausible game-based reason that it is disallowed, hence the request for a legitimate reason, which no one has come up with. You're basically telling me to stop asking, because I don't know. Isn't that the basis of needing to ask? Not knowing (not that there is anything else to know)?
excuse me when I say sigil, and mean allied notes. Regardless, you understand what I mean.
And I dont mind if you ask, your version of asking is rough and to the point of seeming like you just want to be on top of the conversation, "winning" is everything to people, especially within mild arguments. About time traveling chocbo's none the less...
And back to the games mechanics on things, above my post you see one of the most valid reasons for not needing chocobo's besides the one that you rent(via allied notes). It's all based around being able to teleport. Possibly rentable chocobo's are just methods of unlocking areas faster.
