Asura and new characters creation

Stupid question, do you actually have an available content ID?

Yes, I do. On my second account (this one), I have a main character on Asura and a few mules. I deleted one of the mules, tried to recreate it, and got the following message:

"Error code: FFXI-3327
Unable to create a character on the specified world server.
Server population limit reached."

Which doesn’t really make sense, since we’re supposed to be able to create new characters if we already have one on Asura.

Maybe it’s something they need to fix.

Is anyone else able to create a character on Asura right now, or is it just me?

Given that message, it probably will be seen by anyone, but again, I would verify this with someone else before claiming it.

Also possibly stupid question, is the Content ID you're using on the SAME PlayOnline ID as another character you have on Asura? If it's on a different POL account, it probably doesn't count even if it's linked to the same SQEX account.

Edit: A different person also reported this in a bug report, so while it's still worth verifying my question, they said in their post it was the same POL ID for them. So it does seem like this may not be intended behavior.

The two accounts are completely separate: different emails, different POL IDs, etc.
So I'm assuming this is a global issue. Hopefully SE will look into it.
