    Suggestion: Increase regeneration rate for imprimaturs

    I could not find a specific forum for in game feedback so please move this thread to the correct section if I have posted it in the incorrect place.

    I recently returned to the game with some friends and took up Geomancer as part of our Sortie group. I want to make the ultimate addition to a GEO's arsenal, an Idris, but in my opinion it's still rather unnecessarily gated behind the coalition assignments where you have to reach Legend in each Coalition. Which takes 6 months due to the recharge rate of imprimaturs.

    Rhapsodies of Vanadiel brought many great quality of life changes to the process of making relic and mythic weapons, with the requirements to re-enter dynamis, salvage, and einherjar either being removed or lowered to 1 hour. And an empyrean weapon you can complete quite quickly in abyssea anyway. So I don't understand why coalitions did not receive the same treatment and anyone wishing to make an Idris or Epeolatry has to needlessly wait 6 months in order to be able to start, especially since Seekers of Adoulin is now 10 years old and is very much considered old content. The weapons are pretty much mandatory for current end game content with no equal alternative available for GEO, and it's seems silly that anyone wishing to play GEO or RUN are being penalized for seemingly no reason.

    I'm more than happy to complete the same amount of imprimaturs required to raise either coalition to legend, but I don't think lowering the recharge rate of impraturs to 1 hour like the entry requirement for Einherjar and mythics will do any harm and it will enable players like me who recently took up one of the jobs to be able to perform better or get into shout groups which demand these weapons.

    Please keep Inprimaturs the same cool down as they are now.

    Spicy, you haven't had a good idea in over a decade.
    They're decade-old content and seem due for an update. Other REMA content has seen cooldown reductions via RoV KIs - why not Impimaturs too? This could help players trying to catch up. If there's a good reason they should remain unchanged, please enlighten us, because at the moment your reply comes off as "well I had to walk up hill both ways, so you should too".

    People have been begging for this as long as it has existed. They aren't going to do anything more than they've already done. Clearly the intention is for this to take a certain minimum amount of time and they aren't willing to take it any lower.


    They're decade-old content and seem due for an update.
    Time passing is not any guarantee that something needs to be changed.

    Imprints does have ways to upgrade their recharge time & increase stored imprints through quest & stuff one can check here.

    Unfortunately due to the whole imprint QoL upgrades tied to those long quests, it's probably too complicated to modify imprint recharge times, albeit not impossible to just do ala Rhapsodies upgrade stuff & forgo the process, since the long quest itself does have another purpose to unlock secret trusts & Adoulin's finale anyways. Also, don't forget that Adoulin still fairly fresh when Rhapsodies was ongoing at the time, it does make sense to nerf older content up to WotG/Abyssea era, would be weird to already nerf Adoulin which only several years apart from Rhapsodies. ofc... they could just do this around current TVR, but I guess it wasn't long enuff to deem it necessary for nerfing. ^^;

    Having started working towards obtaining Ygnas on other servers I play on, I feel this really should be changed in some way.

    I'm not sure or I forget what the point is in increasing the amount we can hold, and lower the time we get more of them with... after we are done?

    Kind of like job points, where we get more and more of capacity points... towards the end.

    Backwards is the word that comes to mind.

    (Getting Job Points faster does have a benefit when going for 10,000 of them for a weapon upgrade, which I would not suggest anyone do, from experience!)

    The only issue I really have is there is a KI that reduces your imprimatur cooldown... but only after you probably don't need to do them anymore. If anything, I'd change this and make the gold shovel cordon not as arduous to get.

    Yeah, the only reason I can really think for that being beneficial in the long run, would be people being able to work on the frontier station to be built, but those are nowadays effectively permanent in any case (after they changed that system a bit).

    I didn't really have this problem on the character I mainly played back when, but suddenly wanting Ygnas and such it feels like such a big time-gate due to the wait on these.

    Maybe have the key item effects moved to a Rhapsodies of Vana'diel thing, though that might be a bit weird at this point, so maybe just a general reduction on the wait would work the best (or at least raise the limit of imprimaturs we can store).
