Cross server party making. Most players mutlibox 5~6 characters some of us don't have money and time or the ability to obtain Prime weapons or probably will ever for that matter. I doubt anyone will waste a day of their time to help a few people so we have to rely on people who are mainly scarce.

Again, this is FFXIV stuff.

FFXI was designed in a different era, and it would require a total remake of all the back end stuff to make these kinds of features work. Things like the prime weapons are not designed to be obtained by everybody, they're there to give the hardcore players something to grind for and keep them busy. You don't need these, and if you think you do, the earlier REMA (relic, empyrean, mythic, aeonic) weapons are all easier to obtain today and still extremely strong.

Again, I'm not saying they shouldn't do that, but they basically have a small handful of people full time on the project, occasionally borrowing a few Creative Business Unit III staff when they need specific expertise. A total renewal of this game isn't really in the cards because there just isn't much chance of a big return on the investment.
