Can we get the screen resolution for the map screen increased to 512x512?

The size of the map screen was because of the ps2, we don't have the ps2 anymore. There is no reason we should have to scroll around the map when it's fully zoomed out anymore.

I'm not asking to make new or bigger maps, I'm just asking for the screen size of the map screen to match the map image sizes. The map screen is 256x256, which means we have to scroll around a 512x512 map image.

The reason it has to scroll is because the maps are square and your screen is not. It doesn't matter what resolution the image is as long as it's a square one.

Frankly I don't even think it's worth with the really limited number of options available. Would love to see more hairstyles and such... but yea that's not happening.

For a while I thought they were against it purely based on not wanting to get someone to create the systems, however I think it's actually that they oppose it from a lore perspective.

Every race has their own specific mother crystal, when they die their souls go back to and are reborn from that mother crystal.

Try make a Taru character on the same account and level it up, you can also send R/E items from your current to your new as it gets higher.

I did this years ago on one of my accounts and I never regretted it, plus I still have my old character for various things.

More size variation of spawns, I really like how in Abyssea you have monsters with different sizes.

Can we get more of that with the new area you're working on?
