Home Point Crystals. Quest?

Suggestion, Ok everyone knows about those Home Point crystals, That being said moving on.

Quest: Once said user saved/touched every Home Point crystal within Vana'diel, Said user gets the ability HPC "Not sure what to called it", Can put user at any Home Point within Vana'diel once per Earth day.

Yes I know there are other ways to get around Vana'diel, Personally I think it would be cool, Giving those lonely Home Point crystals a quest. I wonder how many members do use them nowadays.

but... that would make the Explorer Moogle obsolete....can't have that now, they spent too much time developing those Kupo Powers!

Otherwise, can kinda sorta do it now anyway with the Outpost Warp and Wildcat quests. The only exception there is to WotG I guess....but, there are several mechanics for getting to the past already introduced as well, 4 consumable items, 3 rechargable ones, and 4 spells. Come to think of it...there's a sizable list of items that also serve the same purpose in the present if you bother with obtaining them....

Just mentioning them for some perspective....it's not all that difficult to get around Vanadiel these days.

I think it's a good idea. Home Point Crystals don't get much love. It'd be nice if the quest was a fun challenge to complete.

Maybe they could add a self-renewing resource to each character that allowed them to warp to any Home Point they've touched. The resource could be free, and just renew itself every few hours in real time. They could even adjust the teleportation resource cost based on how far away the home point you're traveling to is.

If they do that, it needs a cool name for sure. How does "Anima" sound?

I played FFXI ages ago and migrated to FFXIV, but this is great that they did this for FFXI. It's like the Aetherytes in FFXIV and Aethernets in the cities (teleport crystals), so this is a very much needed addition for FFXI! It beat having to travel A LOT now.
