One thing I've been looking forward to is the inevitable Maat fight in the future and all the preparation and planning I'd need to do to get past it. I know I'll still be able to do it solo (and I plan to) but it does kind of diminish the achievement a little knowing that most other new players will be steam rolling through him with Trusts. I know, that's a petty thing to care about (a personal flaw) but meh.

Then again, I guess since you have to go through Rhapsody missions first to unlock that option, I likely wouldn't have done it yet anyway and thus would need to solo him regardless. I'm OCD about doing things in order.

Have they said what level/gear you'll need to be able to progress through the rhapsody missions? Just curious.

Content for Rhapsodies is geared to level 60, is what it sounds like. The changes to make it easier to do early things looks to be for the idea that they are assuming that old players will come back to finish storyline, and many of them won't have their old login information, so will start new characters and new accounts. Rhapsodies down't require old mission completion so that someone that remembers the story doesn't have to do it all again if they came back fresh, and letting Trusts be in a Maat fight means that they won't have to spend time farming gear and combat/magic skill before fighting him.
