New Avatar Skillchains

You can have a lot of fun with Shattersoul too, particularly paired with Apogee. Shattersoul + Rush is Darkness, and you can magic burst Heavenly Strike on that. Shattersoul + Flaming Crush is Fragmentation, and another Flaming Crush on top makes Light. Magic Defence Down on Shattersoul makes it even more entertaining.

Here's all the useful self-skillchain level 3 combos that I can think of with the newly SC-able pacts:

Light:
Garland of Bliss <-> Chaotic Strike
Garland of Bliss <-> Predator Claws
Shattersoul/Retribution -> Flaming Crush -> Flaming Crush

Darkness:
Shattersoul/Retribution <-> Rush
Shattersoul/Retribution <-> Spinning Dive
Crescent Fang -> Eclipse Bite -> Shattersoul/Retribution
Spinning Dive -> Starburst/Sunburst/Cataclysm -> Spinning Dive

Note: with enough fast cast and smn cast time merits, it's possible to self SC with 2 pacts from two different avatars using Apogee e.g. Chaotic Strike -> Flaming Crush = Light. The mob will be stunned while you pull this off, which makes it a decently safe combo.

The avatar can also solo skillchain now with Apogee (or the 1hour) which is pretty awesome too

I hadn't considered 2 different avatars though, I'd think even if you instant cast, there'd be too much delay before you could get another bp off.

I've tested it; it's possible to perform a skillchain with 2 different avatars.
