I have no intention of making a mythic but I fully support this suggestion.

Greetings,
Since Alexandrite can be handed over to an NPC for the Mythic quest, we do not have any plans at the moment to make them stack.

Problem there is theirs alot of folks having to store alex because of alot of content like einherjar is still 6 man min, theirs still assaults which cant be soloed, theirs still nyzul isle, and when they eventually get to the npc they'll have prolly just gained 100 free inventory spaces, whereas with a relic, your looking at 4 currency stacks, thats it, Is their no way to be able to bring the storing of alex to stage 1 mythic? and also is their no way of creating a system with the system of beastmen seals where you can store / retrieve alex? as 30k is alot, thats like 3 relics worth of alex. =/
Booo, only 3 posts and you are delivering the bad news! If you had a measure in place to let players take the alex off the NPC, this would be valid, but that isn't possible. The whole quest line needs a rework for QoL changes. You can't even see what weapon you have on the npc and working on w/o annoyance, you have to trade them the same weapon you *think* they have and it won't let you. Otherwise you are in the dark about what you are working on, you can't check what you've turned in either from what I recall.
How about having the NPC be able to return the currency, like seal/crest/ancient Beastcoin NPCs can?

If they made alex convertible to 100pieces, you'd see your alex prices go up since it would be far easier to hoard/resell it before suffering inventory pressure that forces many people to sell it off and makes it a buyer's market.
Bazaar resellers don't generally bother with hoarding and trying to price fix alex because they cant corner the market due to the supply/storage demands, and the inability to convert it to 100pieces like dynamis money.
As someone who has made a alot of gil from playing the bazaar resell game with dyna money singles+100pieces,
allowing conversion of alex to 100 alexpieces would make alexandrite a far more volatile market that doesn't really benefit mythic makers.

Which basically means either we go through inventory hell, or we go through stock/price hell. How wonderful the 30,000 Alexandrite requirement looks. At the same time, no one is apparently willing to budge on that either since there's such a heated debate over it whenever it's brought up as multiple people fight to defend the 30,000 Alexandrite requirement as though removing it would damage the game in a way that could never be repaired.
Alexandrite is nothing more than one giant issue in the end. You can't remove it, you can't reduce it, you can't let it stack, you can't make supply really much better than it is without revamping the event with situational gear. It's all just a bunch of annoying in the end, nothing can be done to it without upsetting someone or breaking something it seems.
The developers are missing the point of this request. It's not "100,000 alexandrite are choking up our inventory and there's nothing we can do!" It's more like "100,000 alexandrite forces us to commit to a mythic weapon. We can't change our minds and resell the unused alexandrites, or change to a different mythic." Like with relic weapons sure you can't get your currency back if you, like, get to stage 3, but you could do what I did with my Spharai: compress all the farmed currency into 100 pieces and not turn them in until the last minute. I didn't turn in a single piece of relic currency until I had it all, and at that point it was only taking up 4 inventory slots. I always had the option to change my mind, maybe do a different relic, or maybe sell it and make a ton of gil. Alexandrites.... you're pretty much forced to turn it all in an see it through to the end or give up what you've turned in.
