Because FFXI is old and not a top priority. SE's big push is FFXIV right now.
Because FFXI's producer isn't as awesome and doesn't have the same problems to address
we got one not too long ago when the dev team was replaced.
I'm glad the producers / dev's rarely comment on these forums..
Half the thread titles.. read like rabid nerds begging for their perfect fix to the game....
and the other half are people who don't want the changes.....
Internet forums make me question if democracy really works >_>
maybe the elite class really do know best ;p
Of course people are dissatisfied. It isn't even an original game, it's like an FFXI reboot. You're not an Elvaan, your a "Elezen", you're not a Paladin, you're a "Gladiator". Seriously? Same races, same jobs with different names... I'm sorry, but I'm not going to drop FFXI to play a look-a-like. Besides, at the rate SE releases their content, FFXIV won't even be a full game for another 5 years. (I'm referring to how slowly expansion content has actually been released in the past)
we get a twitter page, a forum, "the ffxi team answers your questions". and now you want to hear from the producer?
SE, how come we dont get a free donut and coffee when we log in? seriously, I could use one every morning.
You can't even hold it.
