Drakesbane is terrible without Ryunohige. Even with Ryunohige it's not THAT great unless you're buffed to the teeth. It has a 20% attack penalty and a very low crit% rate compared to Stringing Pummel/Victory Smite/Chant du Cygne. Probably something like 5-10% crit at 100%TP.
