Wonder if could ever convince them to make certain ammo infinite? Believe they changed from a consumable ammo system to a non consumable one in XIV. Yes a change like that would hurt crafters, but most people I know that use ammo on a consistent basis tend to make their own ammo anyways.

Even using macros there is risk of lagging and getting screwed anyway, even worse in Delve where the connection between your client and their server likes to randomly drop packets, skipping your commands.

Same thing with WK Reives I think. I mean hell, last night I used Convert during a Yumcax fight, it popped up the recast timer, but my HP & MP did not change at all.

I would like to thank everybody for their support on this.

It was really dumb of me to shoot this bullet, but as I explained, it was a simple macro error and was unaware of the /equip ammo command that would unequip any bullet currently in use.

As for the guy who said I could do Hurkan over and over and get it all the time... there is definitely a chance I could receive it from one fight, or I could end up getting the axe, then the scythe, then the head, and so on, and I was definitely not prepared to do that. (The only item I am interested in getting from it now is the axe, but it is no biggie).

As for the person saying I should strongly reconsider using this one time service on a bullet, I have been playing this game since 2004 and never needed a GM to restore anything. Also I am a very careful person who has never been hacked (as I know how to protect myself from said hackers) and therefore have total faith I will never need this service again. Also getting this service for the bullet may encourage SE to do something about it, as I know I am not the only person who has had this bullet restored since it was released.

On a final note, I will be getting the bullet back on Monday when a SGM is available, and I am looking forward to it. I shall treasure it a lot more, as this item will actually be created by a SGM specifically to be put into my inventory, and SE did not have to do this. They could have turned around and said "No, it was your fault, get another", so it gives me even more faith that SE understands that mistakes can happen, and they will be sympathetic.

Don't use the restore thing for the bullet, man! At least not right away.

Too late. However people seem to be mistaking this item restoration with the other restoration where they roll back your character to an earlier time.

Also I had somebody tell me today they have had more then one restoration of an item. One in 2009 and one recently for this very same bullet. GMs will restore items like this if you are respectful and genuine. There is absolutely no reason why I should have waited and I don't get why some of the minority say I should not get a restoration.

No one seems to be expanding on the reasons why I should not, but it doesn't matter now anyway, I will get it back on Monday, thanks to the lovely GM service.

Many more important things than a single bullet to use a 1 time recovery on. If you drop a RME120 later on after the update & whatever crazy ass thing they want us to do for it has already been done, you would need it for that. If it were truly a 1 time thing at that point, which would you rather do? Remake a RME99+ or redo a Wildskeeper Reive?

Its only a matter of basically saying not to waste it, not that you should not do it, or should not get it back.

Accidents happen? Hell why would you need a 1 time item recovery in the first place? Everyone makes mistakes, I have seen screenshots of people who accidently dropped things from Defending Rings to RMEs and so on, its not that impossible, but it is a mistake, and if you do such a thing by accident it would really bite you in the ass to have used up this 1 time recovery on something as simple and easy as a bullet.

My cat walked all over my keyboard and bazaared a 2 mil item for 20k one time. My bad for falling asleep with the bazaar window open, but still... Stuff happens.
