Yeah I agree, it's pretty silly those abilities are completely useless.
Could the development team provide us some information on their planned "Adjustments?" Because this wording is very vague. Will they be adjusting monsters so they have steal-able and despoil-able items? If so, who cares? Steal, Despoil and Mug are all worthless abilities. I haven't even had a macro set for any of them in many years.
Will they be making adjustments to Steal, despoil, Aurasteal and mug abilities so that they do something that is relevant and add something that useful to gameplay? YES, PLEASE!
I only ask because it seems like SoA is just more of the same type of endgame content where THF gets the shaft....yet again. Treasure hunter has literally NO effect on any of the endgame activities associated with SoA. What are we supposed to do here?
I've pretty much given THF the "Seal of Useless", Its my farm job, and occasionally i go as a DD if I'm bored, cause i have Mandau, but I never really get a use out of it. I actually go BRD to most events now, hate the idea of needing to gear that up...
But beyond that, I like that, at least Despoil, allows me to inflict the enemy with some statuses... the DEF/Acc/Atk/eva down are particularly useful to me when solo, I just wish that it would allow you to inflict those even if an item is not stolen![]()
We're very sorry, but it has come to our attention that the following information was left out of the English July version update notes regarding the announcement I made above.
We will be checking on the reason for why this was left out of the update notes and take proper precautions to prevent this from happening in the future.Items can be now be obtained by the thief ability "Despoil" from the below monsters types:
Panopt / Velkk / Twitherym / Chapuli / Craklaw / Matamata / Umbril / Acuex
Thanks Okiput
Item number 2 left out of update notes? Looks like the team needs to do some exercises in communication.
