Dev why is fire weather rare in Ifrit's Cauldron

This topic has come up many times. At some point someone is gonna come in and explain how fire weather is really common if you log in at midnight 10 weeks from now. If se were gonna change it, they probably would've already. Since it appears that TotM isnt gonna be continued, I seriously doubt they are gonna change it now. It sucks, but them's the breaks.

The weather site is missing newer zones, and it wouldn't surprise me if one of the unreleased zones in SoA is going to be a Death Valley type of desert (or at least sports fire weather).

That would make no sense, and yet make sense, because the Fire NM is in an ice area, when you would think like with the water NM being in the water area, and the wind NM being in the wind area, that fire would be in the fire area.

Morimar Basalt Fields is located in a sleeping vulcano with an active magma chamber, and vulcanos don't have to lie in the tropics If there is a desert-like area (so fire and earth weather), it's probably sporting the earth Naakual.
