@Rog: This may sound odd, but play makeout with the R button.
Put your lips on each side of it, covering the whole area of where the button goes down. Then blow into it. You probably have some dust or whatever in there.

The same issue happens with my DS lite L button every now and then. The blowing trick fixes it up good as new.

Did not help at all.
