    Why is there no information on this ?

    Also, I can understand there may be some Xbox issue releasing an expansion for basically dead game in the EU but they're easy enough work arounds. (For example SoA could be released in the same way as the abyssea/other mini expansions).

    But on the PC side of it, I have no clue why SE isn't even advertising it for their EU store. Either way, if SE is having trouble with international releases it might be something they should work on since it's something the rest of the gaming industry has move past like 3-4 years ago.

    With that said, I would have to give kudos for SE continued French and German support for the game but i do find it weird there is no Spanish support for their games.

    with SoA release just over a month away i started to look for places i can pre-order it, after awhile looking around afew websites i cant seem to find it anywhere (im looking for the xbox 360 version btw in the uk), even the official SoA dont have anywhere listed or even a price as of yet...... has anyone had any luck finding it yet? and it would be nice if a rep could help us out and maybe list afew places we could get us poor eu's always get forgotten about.... :\

    A month is quite a long time, and the fact we suffer lower quality service because SE cant be bothered to get a few more reps is pathetic. This question has been popping up over the last month a few times because people have been having an impossible time pre-ordering the game or even finding out simple info such as the price. Perhaps I would be a bit more understanding if there was some actual info even given in the post, but instead, its asking people to wait longer for info. No matter what job I am doing I assure you I can normally take 30 seconds to explain I need a bit of time to get your stuff for you, rather than ignoring you for a month only to finally say "Hold on, Ill get that for you in a few days!".

    Do I understand its only a few people? Yes, some questions which are a bit more complex or get answers which are more complex I can understand a wait time of a week or two, a month seems a bit drastic for any info. But the fact we got an answer of which is very little help, and it took an entire month to get said answer, seems a bit wrong if you ask me.

    What SE really needs to do in either case is put more resources back into FFXI so the game can get going faster again, the game is by no means dead yet, but they give it the bare minimum. The staff seems to have little time for anything but SoA, and has been that way since it was announced, not to mention the fact we share a rep team with an entirely different game. Our forums seem to get so little attention because everything the entire English forums seem to produce for ideas are ignored, while any response we get is generally a copy/paste of something said on the JP side with English posts put in quotes to make it look like they care. Anyone here due to lack of info or problems with these forums has a right in my opinion because it seems terrible, and has a sense of need for massive improvement.

    So while I admit some of it may have been misguided annoyance, I think the annoyance itself is justified.

    in case you didn't know, FFXI and FFXIV share the same community team members. i agree that FFXI needs more DEV resources, but getting more community resources.... not so much. SE has the community team out of COURTESY to the player base, and as a Japanese company they have gone even further out of their way to ensure that the information is available to you in English.

    i wholeheartedly agree with your annoyance, and I'm not even contesting it. I'm simply vindicating their justifiable actions since they are incapable of doing so without recourse.

    If the community team is the cause of the slow response as your previous post implied, then we do in fact need more of them, as to alleviate that problem. There is no reason we should have to wait a month for a reply to a simple question, which tells us nothing more than to wait, while others go without answers entirely, just because they have us sharing with the newer, shinier game which is now in beta. The games are separate, and should have separate teams working on them, not only in development, but also in their duties on the forums and communicating with the players.
