You can get a PC that runs FFXI for that. For $500 you could get a PC that runs pretty much every current game.

And your operating system, virus scanner, firewall and spyware protection keep themselves up to date with very little user input (only the operating system may require a restart every now and then), and many of these things can be combined in one. You don't need to run any scans, that can also be done automatically, and are by default. What is a "more secure web browser"? And how else can you be hacked? You have absolutely no clue what you're talking about. And how the hell do you make someone else an easier target?
