ya know, its been a week sence the tragady in japan. and ive been rather bored,so i started looking into all theese posts. i am a FFXI adict of the first degree, ive scheduald my first daughters birth via C-section around dyna , and lookd to my friends comfort after my 2nd daughters death,so as you can see i play this game alot more than alot of ppl, and even i can deal with the servers being shut down for awile. THERE ARE PPL DYING AND STARVING OVER THERE PPL!!!!!!! get over yourselves and get on with your lifes. SE..... take all the time you need and for gods sake donate 50% of the next 6 months game billing to your relife efforts. im a poor man and even i can aford to donate to the redcross. so i implore everyone who has 10.00$ in there pocket, under the coutch in your car whereever DONATE AS MUCH AS YOU CAN thank you.

Peape is a good friend of mine and anyone that has a Japanese friend should be worrying over them and not over when the game will be back on. So remember that before being selfish.

What alot of people are forgetting is, the employees and owners of SE are people. People in Japan at the moment are banding together in this time of suffering and panic among the people, NOONE wants to think about buisness, everyone is trying to help eachother out. We had similar things here in NZ when it struck Christchurch 2 weeks before Japan got hit. We're STILL cleaning up, and we're STILL mourning the loss of loved ones. At the moment, anyone who had a branch of a company around the country is trying to do all the work of the branch in Christchurch as they try to pickup thier lives.

People in crisis band together, and try to help out one another. People were arrested for trying to dive into rubble and help out complete strangers because it was endangering thier lives aswell as others, but they didn't think, they just wanted to help.

Do you not think they deserve the time to try help others as much as possible? Sure they're employees of a multi national megacorp, but they have feelings, they have been affected by this as much as anyone else, they have families, some may have lost friends and family members. In the end, FFXI is nothing more than a game. Please remember this. Sure it may have become a norm in your life, but, it's not worth people dying over.

In my opinion, I'd rather have the hospitals working at as high an effciency as possible over having a game up for the selfish people in the rest of the world who want to sit around in Jeuno doing nothing all day long.

Take this anyway you read it, I've said my part, and frankly am sick of the complaints.

The people you spend a lot of time with in FFXI are no more "random strangers" than the people you spend a lot of time with out in the real world.

I'm not referring to his friends online. I'm referring to him only being okay with not being in FFXI when it's other people in a serious situation. Don't try and white knight a dude that prioritized Dynamis over his daughter's birth.

The official announcement about the FFXI suspension says that they will re-evaluate the situation in Japan on March 22nd Japan Standard Time.... but they don't specify a time. It's been March 22nd JST for 3 hours.... any news? I'm banking that it'll be suspended for at least another week or two, but I'm just curious.

I doubt they are in work to post an update at 3am, I think you can probably expect to wait at least another 9 hours before an announcement (Midday in Japan)

Yesterday (Monday) in Japan it was a national holiday, so I doubt anyone was working anyway.

as it was said on CNN and My Local News, The people of Japan are Strong, and Pull together when things are hard, We should be so lucky to have them as a reason to be strong and help in any way we can, If you dont like it, change it.
