Having no problem find people killing dolls during prime times on Leviathan. People are always going to have jobs to grind, at least for a long while yet. The only reason xp parties would be hard to find is because stopped playing XI. Also as was mentioned, what does cruor have anything to do with XP parties? If I wanted to get lots of cruor I'd either go spam VW or go afk in a fell cleave or make an actual cruor farm party.

You can still convert cruor to gil btw, it's just that it's a pretty awful rate (0.2 gil per cruor or something like that).

I think it comes out to 3 cruor = 1 gil as opposed to 1 cruor = almost 3 gil since it was changed.

Cool, how about 13 gil per 100 cruor?

Cruor needs to be able to buy VW drops, mainly Plates, Mirrors, Sand, Dross, and Cinder. Allowing those to be bought would be great, they are items, not gil, which are used in trials that consume the item, cruor is taken, the item is taken, no gil is created, and nothing bad happens, people simply sell them to one another which causes gil to cycle through the market, not be created.
This is an excellent suggestion and the development team should consider this.
You want people to do Voidwatch when they are disappointed in the loot system?
You want people to do Abyssea for EXP when they can't benefit from the EXP? People'll only need weapons/seals/+2 items for so long.
You want people to have an additional use for cruor?

That is it. Sure, people can max atmacites, but what then? Make the amount of cruor needed high for these items for all we care, just give us an additional use for cruor so it doesn't just sit there and rise.

As it is, the only reason to even use excessive cruor is on brews "just for the sake of using it."... and even then, that only applies to people actually needing to use one in Abyssea for something.

I completely agree with this as well. Since the game launched here in North America I've been playing and, call me weird - it's okay, I've always been leery about pick up groups - as in to the point that I played my WHM solo until I could unlock BST. I'm finally at the point with my Empyrean weapon that I can begin collecting Heavy Metal Plates... but this means entering the realm of pick up groups with the way the game is right now. Even if one Heavy Metal Plate were to cost twice that of a Primeval Brew it would still give me another option to get these. I realize that this is just a weird personal crisis of mine, even if other people share in my distaste with the frustrations that come with working with random people. However, even with that said it would give more life to the Abyssea zones and to Void Watch in general. That alone is worth considering.

nope, if you want to make gil either farm or level a craft, or do both. I farm dyna and do vw shouts and on any given day I can role in 5m. Chocobo blinkers was the easiest way to make money and there are screenshots of people who capped their gil from doing it.

the economy is not in bad shape, in fact it's the best i've seen it in a long time. look how many people have a relic, or even two relics. Just to get to loan stage on relic is (ball parking it) around 60-70m? For those who think VW is going to die out, the paths that drop pouches and riftdross and riftcinders are going to remain steady and even increase because people are going to make their relics they want and then move on to an empy.

chocobo blinkers was the welfare and food stamps. it was nice for the people who could not help themselves in this game and now they have to get off the tit

Wow... relics REALLY that cheap on bismarck? Man I been on the wrong server all this time lol. On Shiva 1byne and opiece have steadily been at 7.5-8k and opieces 5.5k, which makes it a minimum 100m+ (not counting last 30).

Always makes me laugh how different prices/economies are from server to server

Large, sudden, and uncontrolled amounts of currency that were being injected into the economy with cruor farming was a bad thing rather.
I seem to remember the opposite happening when ToAU came out. A lot of people went for the 500k boat pass to Whitegate, because apparently farming 6 n00b items was harder to do than make 500k back then. This dumped a large amount of gil out of the economy, causing pretty erratic AH prices.

Both are true. That's why inflation and deflation are both bad (at least in extremes, slight inflation or deflation may be wanted to coincide with population growth).
