Yeah it will definitely get better . . . It has alot more potential then FFXI since ps2 limitations so i give it about another 5/6 months before it 1)Blows FFXI out the water or 2)blows up and they shut down all servers then tell everyone how bad they fail . . . .

I wish ffxiv was playable on more computers. From what I have heard it is hard to play even on some pretty decent machines.

But everyone in ALL these threads keeps complaining that they aren't doing anything, they have no plan in place, etc...the point is, how do they know this? How can you criticize an unknown element? The absence of an update is not proof of the absence of action.

That's not really true now is it? They said we wont get charged for april.. BUT what if after the 22nd they still dont get the game back up and it doesnt go up untill the middle of april? Then what? we get a whole 1-2 weeks free? Honestly i dont care its only $13 but i do know people are going to complain.

It is highly likely that FFXIV will not survive this shut down, it was already half-dead in the gutter at the time. I guess we'll see. There is no doubt that it has far more potential (less SE drops ps2 support).

I love the hypocracy of half the people posting in this thread. Stating that one shouldn't be asking when the game is coming back, or that people complaining are selfish.

Let me ask you this, hypocrites, how can you play an MMO AT ALL when there are countries out there with thousands of children dying under 12 months old because they don't have clean drinking water or basic medical equipment. While people are living in poverty, and starving how can you enjoy an online game while there's a global tragedy? You should be ashamed.

That's right. Keep riding your horse of moral justice and charity. God forbid anyone question SE's lack of backup plan to do something as simple as migrate data to a redundant data center offshore for their OWN benefit, and that of their countries economy.

Just to be clear: I don't mind waiting, though they should have had a disaster recovery plan - but for the sake of the sanity of normal people - stop whining at people who want to whine at SE.
