I see no problem with the cost and rarity of the ingredients and materials. If you account for how much more gil is in the game now than 7 years ago, the new materials are no different than Shining Cloth/Damscene Cloth/Divine Log/Venemous Claw circa 2005. Back then those items went for 6-20mil each which was appropriate considering only a few NMs dropped these items and they were heavily camped. Level 99 abjuration gear should be rare and expensive and the HQs should be even rarer and more expensive just like at 75.

The problem isn't about how expensive/hard to obtain HQ gears are, but rarely anyone do the content that drops the material

Provide some incentive for people to do them. Offer to do 4-6 VWNM runs with x million for each crafting material, giving out free cells to max droprate. Hell, give them the NQ if they want it.

As far as I know, it has lower drop rate than other VW money item, so most of the time ppl would rather do other money VW(such as Gnat/Qilin).
