Why are Goblins the only beastmen in Abyssea?

the qudava tho living in swamps are miners as well and heavy on the def so there probably turtled up somewhere
the orcs make me wonder tho, there in 2 very well defend-able areas and are militant as they come really would come down to if they called for reinforcement from the rest of the orchis host.....
the gigas like the gnoles i think completely fell to promys influence
all and all abysea has alot of holes that se could have easily expanded on story wize and given us good content >.>

They're not, there are Tonberries and Gigas in Aby as well. If you're trying to say that there aren't enough different types of beast men in Aby than I'd agree with you. However, I don't think that's going to change.

Well Tonberries aren't Beastmen, but instead members of the Zilart race changed. Also, there are Porrogos and Demons, which are considered of the beastmen maelstrom.

If by Demons you mean Kindred, then no, there aren't any in Abyssea (sadly; that'd be useful for some trials). There's Imps, Tauri, Gargouilles, etc., but no Kindred. :/

If the beastmen fell prey to the same force's as the children of Atlanta, than they'd probably be just as scattered as they are. When you think about it, it doesn't make much sense for the two to still be feuding when the world is in such strife. Wasting soldier's on a feud that just doesn't exists any longer.

Maybe it's just what some suggested; all of them went back home to the strongholds are are stuck there and we can't reach any of their main strongholds so that's why we don't see them.
