I would like to know in what fashion will SE be distributing the new expansion so said PS2s? If it's a disk, I would like to also ask, why not make it region free?

Ya know I usually would say no to this but this is a good idea. Since region lock was only done to prevent ppl from playing foreign dvd movies on non compatible players I see this as an idea I could get behind. Now if they don't have it happened it wouldn't surprise me

It will be available in the stores, unlike here in the states were all ps2 games are on clearance or in the $1 bin at GS they still have places that sell new ps2 games.

They might even sell it in there actual store located in Tokyo

It's already been answered: By disk, they still sell PS2 games in Japan, and Sony blocks things from being Region Free not SquareEnix.
