It said PS2 on the JP trailer. For US PS2 players you just can't buy it in the store probably download only.
Might not be available for PS2 outside of Japan.
In either case, it does not mean PS2 support will stop.

Guessing that decision has to do with the platform survey that SE performed some time ago. Guess they found not many US players play on their PS2s anymore, so it wouldn't be worth the investment to make a port for the ps2 in the US.

Probably because it's too large for the standard 20GB HDD of the PS2 too.
