Tetra Master

Just wanted to say that I dunno how much it took from a server, but that game was enjoyable and would have had more fan if it had a link with FF XI. Like, I dunno, for an exemple using recent additions, been in the top 10 in Tetra Master could earn you an Atma or whatever.

I also understand the fact that the popularity of Tetra Master was really, but really low, though some people actually enjoyed it.

Would love to see some kind of card game implemented into FFXI. Preferably something that resembles Triple Triad as opposed to Tetra Master.

It would be awesome if Tetra Master could be merged with FFXI so that players can send a Tetra Master request to each other and play together while sitting around in Jeuno, or several NPCs can be played as well and players can win cards. This was always a fun thing in FF8 and FF9 with their own card playing systems against certain NPCs. I would love to play this in FFXI since I never got into it on a separate content ID, although I did check it once.

I'd love TM to be viable again, last time I subscribed I literally couldn't find a game because it was so dead. Making it a free bonus for FFXI players also wouldn't be a bad option. Do you really need that one dollar?

I agree that it would be good if it was incorporated into ffxi and even cards dropping from certain NMs would be a nice way to collect more powerful ones.

Would be better than standing around a city doing nothing.

I was a Triple Triad fan, but FFXI's Tetra Master was a unique experience that I enjoyed when I had people to play against in the beginning. Working it into the game like they added those Corsair Roll tables wouldn't be too much effort and I would imagine they would get way more use than the tables get now.

I don't get all the love for triple triad. It really wasn't anything special.

At any rate, the plug was pulled on tetra master quite simply because it was costing too much to keep operating when only a few people were playing it.

This! Didn't the cards come from monster drops in the previous games? If SE could bake tetra master into FFXI and allow us to hunt monsters and NMs for cards I'd be set.
