Exactly what skill ....
SAM: Gekko Gekko Gekko Gekko
WAR: Raging Rush Raging Rush Raging Rush
MNK: Hit Hit Hit Hit Hit Hit Hit
Everyone Else: YAY DROPS!
I did all the old stuff, don't lie to yourself. There was no *skill* involved, hardest thing was timing stuns. And in all honestly, Voidwatch requires more *skill* then every big alliance old content ever did. Managing your Temp Items, although not hard, is something you never had to deal with before.
Inb4 "managing hate" line of argument.
Doing damage is for WAR's, DRK is about soloing 75 content yo.....Originally Posted by Raelix

Calm down you guys, this thread isn't about e-peens.
It's about getting our hopes up and then making us wait very long periods of time before SE decides to crush our dreams by announcing that all 9 new zones will be released as separate expansions and that their only purpose will be to hold NMs used in a revamp of their Hunt Registry system, where the only changes will be that you have the chance of getting a stronger "Resist Poison +10" evolith by equipping a crafted-only item(made by 100 Synergy) that can only be equipped by SAM WHM and PUP.

Take your own advice and don't lie to yourself. This is complete bullshit. If the big alliance sucked you could not clear T3 Einherjar, period. I've seen close to 36 people wipe in there. It was the difference between 2 and 10 AF items a Dynamis run. It was the difference between wiping on Ix'DRG and killing JoL. You can not tell me a full alliance of noobs even stood a remote chance of killing JoL, because they didn't. If just one party in there was useless, chances are the entire thing wouldn't have worked out. In VW, a handful of good people can carry the entire alliance, as long as the others can proc spells, while on Cerberus at 75 the entire alliance needed to be on their toes to kill it in under an hour (and good tanks to survive even, which also isn't needed in most VW fights).
Say whatever you want about what type of content you liked most, that's entirely unrelated to this. But saying random garbage like that makes you seem dishonest.

While having it in the dats makes me hopeful, I'm also reminded of various zones/spells/etc that were in the initial release that never quite made it to the final realization of the game today. I believe at one point there was speculation that there should have been a bastok train station of some form with an entire layout of tracks leading through an unreleased zone, but it was never used and eventually removed from the dats(I think).
This might just be a "we need something new guys let's test this out" tinkering on SE's part so I'm just going to wait for something from the actual devs that explains the new rom files.
Funny, so are a lot of other things yet people are still around doing it, or in some cases SE took a hint and plan to add/added the options (dual client windows, windowed mode, higher resolution). See what literal context does? What I meant was more in terms of an announcement stating there is something new on the way. IE: the announcement of a new expansion/addon that would explain why these type of dats are being found in ROM9.
