There's another reason why I hate some of the endgame, when you're being forced to use chat software, I'm sometimes denied access to some of the content cos I refuse to use chat software and I actually have a valid reason.... i'm DEAF!

Luckily there are a few players who knows, that I know what I'm doing with my job and leaves me alone while chatting to all the other players... granted I often feel left out because i don't get to chat to these people, but what can I do... I can't help having a disability.....

Wtf do you need a voice chat program for?

Hardly any chatting is required period, and for anything you do, most people short-handed it down to 2-3 letters, which you can easily type between WS, or during auto-run. Could always use a bluetooth headset with a mute button built-in to converse from a room or two away from your PC anyways while playing on a PS2/360.

the fact people are complaining about this is sad and the that people still play on a ps2 or xbox 360 is equally laughable. i do however agree the time limitation is ridiculous and needs to be adjusted, but people complaining about windower use and skype need to get over it skype helps parties or groups communicate easily and actually speed up processes.

<.< and what you just said.... just shows the level of ignorance you have toward deaf players who complain about this method.... personally i'm a deaf player and i really hate this method, I can't get a Neo Nyzle static cos i don't use Vent but luckily a friend of mine is going to include me in his static for Neo... so no i won't get over it... personally SE is alienating deaf players by making content so people require "chat software" to make the content more efficient and I for one, want the developers to take this into consideration cos it's totally unfair that I'm being denied by players to explore new content when i cannot use Vent.....

You don't need Skype.

1) Voice chat is not an illegitimate third party program
2) Just because you're playing on a console doesn't mean you don't have a computer and couldn't therefore, say, use a wireless headset and Vent or TS or Skype or Mumble.
3) Xbox players can use xbox's party chat for voice chat (a majority of my LS is xbox players and they all use this)
4) Voice chat and other stuff offers makes any and all content easier, not just Neo Nyzul.

I actually approve of the idea of not allowing ps2 or 360 players access to neo nyzul, but I think we should extend it to all new events that get added. That way SE can phase out the PS2 and 360. It's not like you cant get a PC that will run FFXI better than either of those systems for $50. You can get FFXI's PC version completely free if you already have an FFXI account too. So whatever, do away with ps2 and 360 support all together IMO.

Well, as long as SE is taking money from PS2 and Xbox360 players, they kind of have a duty to provide the same level of service. That's the bottom line. What your opinion is doesn't really matter.

And also, eliminate the need for a revolving door of Scholars, because after each run, a SCH is dumped and replaced with a new one with a fresh 2-hour.
