SE, what's the status of the pet TH gear?
Also, for nerfing Yuley's TH, 'how 'bout reduced delay on Yuley so (s)he can attack faster?
And while we're on the topic, just what gender is DipperYuley, anyway? lol

Wasn't really trying to but the 1st reply you made to me seemed a bit angry when I read it.
Dancer indeed does have more potential JA procs but 0 Treasure Hunter. Anyone who goes Dancer to dynamis never goes in with a subjob active so it's not like they can sub THF or anything. How was it being abused at all much less "overabused?" DNC has more potential JA procs than anyone and tons of evasion and self healing. If I take those natural abilities and use them to collect currency or solo an NM where another job may not be able to do the same, am I abusing something?
It actually has more of an effect on the drop rates then you realize.Besides isn't TH rather ineffective for earning currency? It certainly does very little without the ability to proc right?
It wasn't so much as bragging as it was to prove a point. Dipper is just really damn good in or out of Abyessa. That's it.You sent the message without saying it outright. Look at all the the pics you posted of things you soloed. That comes off as bragging. Then to say that, "Oh I did all this so Dipper's good enough as is." It's like you're just rubbing it in everyone's faces.
Natural yes. It possibly happening? Probably not. If anything I'm just being a realist.Another thing seems a bit odd to me. Most people would be just fine with something they use being made more useful. The natural response would be to ask for improvements and to desire stronger, faster, more efficient, better value, etc. The fact that you're going against that normal tendency makes me think you have other reasons than potential boredom for not wanting Yuly to be in any way improved. It's just kinda weird and a bit off-putting.
I'm not ignoring it. Jesus christ I've said it multiple times in this thread. It doesn't need anymore evasion. It's already stupidly high enough as it is. If you give it anymore evasion then nothing would ever be able to hit it. Ever. But there have been more suggestions than simply added evasion, which you seem to be ignoring altogether. Why is that?
Falcorr is pretty awesome but Dipper imo seems a lot more fun for those fights where you're riding that line between your reward timer/Call Beast. SE simply saw Dipper as not needing the boost to it's already high evasion and triple attack rate. Karbuncle already said it simply enough..Why not added attack like with Falcorr? Why not a little boost to Ready abilities? Where you against Falcorr being given an attack boost in exchange for losing THII and THIII? If not, why not? Falcorr was definitely no slouch before the update.
80% Evasion is nuts. You can't sit there and tell me you want to raise that even higher and think that it'll somehow be balanced right?Problem is, on most thing you use Yuly for, She'll already be capping Evasion at 80%.
Pet TH gear will happen whenever the dev team decides how they want to implement it. I'm not crossing my fingers honestly for it.No one is "QQing." What I'd like to see is some consistency. Do for Yuly what was done for Falcorr, and also deliver the Pet: TH gear that Camate spoke of. Got a problem with that?
What I said was you seem to be ignoring suggestions to improve Yuly that have nothing to do with Evasion. Critical Hit Rate, Triple Attack Rate, Attack, and Ready Abilities are not Evasion and have been suggested as alternatives to an Evasion boost. You haven't responded to any of these suggestions at all. I don't think I can make it any clearer than that.
So, again, what about improving some stat/trait/ability of Yuly's other than Evasion? Would that be a problem for you as well?
*scratches head. It's like you're trying to get me to say that adding anything other then an evasion boost would be ok. It already has a High Triple Attack and Critical Hit Rate as well.
What else would you want it to have?
The only reason Falcorr got a boost to it's attack was it was just way lower then Dipper's to begin with so they wanted to balance that out. His TP moves are fine as well, When you're doing multiple mobs and you want to make sure everything gets TH'd then Noisome Powder is fine. Sudden Lunge is pretty neat for stunning stuff and Spiral Spin is good if you want to hit more then one mob at a time with an accuracy down bonus. I keep looking at what else you could possibly want for this overpowered pet but I'm not seeing it.
I'm sorry but I'm afraid you're not fully correct with this assumption. There are mobs that con VT to IT that dipper has no problems dealing with whatsoever. All the newer IT mobs in Gustav Tunnel, The Boyada Tree and other zones outside of Abyessa I have no issues soloing with Dipper. If anything with capped beast affinity/beast healer merits along with Relic +2 legs/feet inculding Augments it's really hard to kill the damn pet.Seeing as there is a cap, not quite true and seeing as if you take on anything above decent and Yuly gets thrashed it's again not true.
Dipper Yuly really isn't as stupidly overpowered as you're trying to pretend.
Look I know you guys feel like you want to be right on this issue but sadly I don't see any sort of change coming to dipper no matter how justified some of you folks feel about it.
Do I want to disagree with you? No I don't. Will dipper ever get anything else? Time will tell but I sadly see nothing being added to a pet I feel is strong enough as it is.

And you're the only one that does feel it's strong enough as is, unless you're a developer your opinion is no more valid than ours on whether it's seen as too powerful or not.
As for your EXP fodder remark I think I'll ignore that funny little paragraph.
You've made your "point" so how about you leave the thread now, you're adding nothing and in return you have us repeating the same thing over and over again.
No, there are a lot of people who feel the same way. You're just being too blind to see it.
Hey now daniel, you were the one who said Dipper gets wrecked on anything over Decent Challange and I just proved you wrong. If you can't handle the issue that maybe you don't know enough about BST as you think you do, you might actually learn something or even play the job better. It's like you're looking to make an arguement or a point without actually researching the job outside of maybe wearing pearl or pink armor and thinking you still need a buff to your pet.As for your EXP fodder remark I think I'll ignore that funny little paragraph.
Have I made a point? All I see is a select few people like yourself being bitter because Dipper got nerfed and you're demanding something in return. THFs have been bitching for years to get an attack buff for their jobs and they've gotten nothing. Why should Dipper be any different? You've made your "point" so how about you leave the thread now, you're adding nothing and in return you have us repeating the same thing over and over again.
It's because some of you feel like you're owed something in exchange for a nerf.
Ukko's got nerfed and WARs all over cried bloody tears about it and SE still hasn't givin anything back to them. Victory Smite got nerfed and somehow a lot of MNKs didn't seem to care.
DipperYuly's TH got nerfed to level 1 and oh my god so many BSTs are screaming like it's the end of the world.

It's a jugpet, if it was stupidly powerful it would have gotten nerfed - more by now.
Dipper Yuly is a pretty strong Jugpet for being a thf mob (obviously there's also falcorr but I'd expect that to be stronger in the first place), there is nothing wrong with it's evasion, it doesn't really need buffs.
Are people seriously complaining 'evasion and resistance to wind' is all Yuly has? Fargann only has resistance to blunt and water going for it, where's the complaints for that?
