    It is indeed possible to continue the chain off of level 1's as long as you have stratagems/spells.

    I prefer to use my higher tier spells for the skillchain since it receives a larger damage bonus. I tend to SC with tier V and MB with tier IV.

    that's so cool and something I never knew thanks for the info. I haven't used Immanence much but think i'll be trying it out a bit more now
