Well, when you merit any of them it says "Adjust X bonus by 17%.", giving you a total bonus of 85% at cap.

Example:

Entropy
Lv.96 WAR/DRK/BST
Scythe skill 357 or greater.
Adjust INT bonus by 17%.

Going from that I'm gona guess yes, its an INT mod.

Yeah, testing is showing on Bow and Dagger that 5/5 merits = 100% WSmod.

I accually like the scythe WS.. finnaly have a way to get mp back when soloing mobs that you cant aspir, also helps us out when fighting undead and decent damage to boot lol... my one question is what if any SC Proporties... can we finnaly solo a drk SC without a relic/emp...

the Gsword Ws seem decent enough more damage potential than scythe but its kool i keep them both levled... has anyone tested the Gaxe Ws on drk would love find out about that one too

Not many mobs a DRK can solo that take long enough to run out of MP. I was going to put 1/5 in Scythe, but upon further review if you are a DRK main 5/5 GS is the way to roll.

I just came off the test server and the new weapon skills are not working, but you can merit the new ws catagory 15 times, so that means 3 full 5/5 ws or you can split it amongst the other new ws. They just wont be as powerful. If drk is your main, theres no reason not to 5/5 scythe and gs. To each their own as they say.

Someone go into ballista and see if it "aspirs" mp and doesn't just recover.

Because if it recovers MP thanks for a scythe WS that acts like a WHM WS and 5/5 greatsword onry.

I like to solo /sch so this will help with keeping dreadspikes up... cant wait to try it out. but yeah prolly will only put 1 or 2 merits in this depending on how much mp i can get back with it.

also might be able to solo something other than buffalo and crabs in abyssea for skillups

If you're soloing /sch why do you need help keeping your MP up if you are using sublimation, and have refresh 4/tic and aren't geared like shit?

And what could he possibly solo /SCH that would use his full MP pool that he couldn't make plenty dead /SAM before it even gets through Third Eye and Dread Spikes?

/DNC walks all over /SCH for solo.

Just a small thing when you are soloing stuff it's not how fast you can kill 1 mob it's how fast you can kill 100

As for soloing on DRK and sub i change to BST main lol
