FFXI on the SE Store - Destrier Beret?

Well, at the very least I certainly did register the game, because my characters went from not having Abyssea to finally having it. But during the process, I don't believe I got any screens or choices regarding the beret OR regarding individual characters. (Only the screen confirming it was linking Abyssea and the add-ons to my accounts.)


And I'm assuming that the reward code and registration code are one in the same, yes..? Because this is all I got with my purchase, and I have already registered both:

No they are not the same. The registration code for the beret is different. It should have been right under your Reward points registration code.(I don't know how you missed it LOL) Check the link in Camate's 2nd post on how add beret to your account.

Where exactly is this reward code located? Because I fully expect my situation to end up exactly like Etrien. I hope it doesn't suddenly pop up after you install the game with that collections pack download. I don't feel like reinstalling FFXI to access reward codes. The only other codes I got was to redeem SE member reward points...

You get the registration code right after you buy the game. You must then log into your SE account to add the code. No need to reinstall the game you should have all updates already. Check Camate's 2nd post on how to add the beret to your SE account.

I have indeed gone through the steps in Camate's post (repeatedly) to the best of my ability (as well as all sorts of other things), but I am still reward code-less and beret-less.

Weird it should have been another grey box right under that link that said Destrier Beret with the registration code beneath it. It also should have been in your email. If it is not there I would contact SE customer support.

They already proved that people would pay $50 for an ingame item.
