    Just about Everything you do in Abyssea nets you more crour than anything.

    Not sure if I can swallow converting excess exp into crour... which in turn can be cashed in for gil.

    I agree with this. Abyssea maybe shouldn't get the option, but it's especially a good option for GoV areas, where you build your prowesses and the whole point is that you stay there for as long as possible. I was skilling all my secondary weapons on WAR in the Tree recently and I was there for ~3 weeks building prowesses, skilling up, and then just a bit of additional farming once I noticed the price of wysteria lumber . I capped exp after about the second day there though and there's no way to spend them out in the tree.
